Its super annoying to pay $25 for a pencil sharpener and to receive a used item in the mail. I did not pay for a used item and I would expect this to be brand new which it clearly is not. As you can see it came with shavings and debris inside of the container.I will say that the 1st pencil we sharpened so far was sharpened nicely but I dont appreciate paying full price for a used item. Amazon has free returns on this product but I have a newborn baby and its extremely difficult for me to get to the UPS store to return an item that should have been given to me brand new. Not a happy customer. Editing to add I contacted customer service asking for a discount since I have the new baby and cant be going to UPS store right now and they said Amazon is the ones who will sometimes repackage returns and send them out used like that. They apologized and gave me a $3 discount which I felt like was a super stingy discount but like I said the item works and seems to work well. They also Mentioned that the item has a one year warranty and to let them know if I have any problems with that period

Sharpens, no fuss, and fast.

I wasn’t sure it would fit my bigger art pencils but it does!!! I bought a used one because a lot of the time nothing is wrong with them, it was liter Just ‘used’. Sharpens working 3 seconds like it says, it even sharpens china markers despite the peel to reveal and string!! I don’t know snot any auto stopping? If I kept pressing it would definitely kept eating it. But maybe I missed his to do it. Either way I always check after a second anyways. I love this sharpener so much. It’s also very cute???? I highly recommend this to anyone who has multiple sized pencils.

For the very young and for seniors with grip issues, the ability to accept the wider width pencils is wonderful. Also does well with a variety of colored pencils. Of course no tool does everything and a shorter taper may be needed if there are breakage issues with some of the softer colored pencils. Saves a lot of time and wear and tear on my hands when doing concentrated detailed drawing that require extensive re-sharpening.

I use Prismacolor pencils and other pencil sharpeners tend to make the word or break the colored center even the Prismacolor sharpener (run by human hands) does. This sharpener gives a perfect long centered point,, so the point of flat edge of the color can be used. And it stops when done. Doesnt eat or grab pencil with gentle pressure. Still charged after i sharpened 68 pencils. Yayyy, a wish comes true.
