Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Not a great design, I always have to pull hard to take the drive out of it.

Bought this case to be able to carry & travel with my 2tb WD external Passport hard drive. I keep lots of music on this drive and have another one with movies so I want to protect them. This case was all it said it would be. I decided to give it a try and have not been disappointed. It works great.

At review time $5 for this super nice zipper case. I was carrying loose Media Drives in my bag and USB Chargers, they would bang and rub on stuff and start to show some wear. So I purchased a few of these to store them in to keep them in top shape and organize my backpack a little better. These are nice cases and provide good protection. If you want great protection you would have to look at something more pricey like Pelican cases or something. I just needed a safer more organized solution for my backpack and this worked like a charm!

It holds my passport 1T and the cables, and I even put a small sticky notepad and an eraser in there with them. I havent had any experience with dropping it - and dont plan to anytime soon - but it has worked perfectly for what I wanted so far, which was to have a way to carry it in my backpack without being crushed or scratched by anything else. Overall, it looks very good and the zipper is also handy for picking it up. :)

Excellent; the manufacture of this article can effectively preserve the hard drive and even in case of a fall, the disc does not suffer any damage. Very good article. A very good buy.

This case will fit the Jetpack and the cord but not the plug. Was hoping to fit it all in this case.

I like this case a lot. Very well built and padded. Keeps my 1T hard drive nice and safe inside. Very happy with my purchase.

Sleak, lightweight & perfect to travel with.

Great case for holding your passport and cord. A great product at a great price. Looking into the other Amazon basics products for my other electronic equipment.
