A good sturdy case that offers much confidence to protecting your WD passport.

This carrying case fits the WD Passport for Mac snugly and has a webbed lining to store the usb port. The case has a black matt finish and looks pleasing. However, I could tell straight away from the touch that it was made from cheap material. If youre looking for a sturdy protection for your external HDD, I can say that this product will not suffice. Although I have not dropped it, the built does not seem like it is capable of absorbing impact for the HDD survival. I use this case mostly for storage. If you want to ensure full survival of your hdd after a drop, I would consider buying one with built-in protection.

My passport fits snug as a bug in this little carrier. Has a place for all the cords to fit into it. The case itself is a hard cover.
