Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Great quality and perfect size.

I purchased 2 of the (Medium and Large) version of Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Case because I have an old 500 GB Western Digital My Passport external hard drive that is long. It is not the same size as the 1 TB Western Digital My Passport Ultra external hard drive which is shorter and slim. I got this size so I can use it for both the 1 TB WD My Passport Ultra and the 500 GB WD My Passport. I do not have to worry about the hard drives not fitting into the case. Theres plenty of room if you use it for the 1 TB WD My Passport Ultra external hard drive. The pictures shown online about the packaging and size differences are accurate. The (Medium and Large) is longer while the (My Passport Essential Case) is wider when they are compared to each other. The external hard drive case offers protection from scratches and securing the hard drive on the go. It is not the strongest material to protect your case from drops, but it is good for the price. The (Medium and Large) version is a cheaper by a few cents compared to the (My Passport Essential Case). The external hard drive case looks good in black outside and inside it is orange. The only bad thing I would say about the case would be the handle for the zipper. The handle has the amazon basics logo in a rubbery material attached to the zipper. It looks like it could break easily after continued use so I am careful when applying pressure in opening and closing the case from the zipper handle. I ordered the external hard drive cases on Friday and received through USPS on Sunday. I would recommend this external hard drive case if you want an alternative to the soft material of the Western Digital My Passport carrying case that may or may not have come with any of the Western Digital external hard drives.

Nice hard case to protect my portable hard drive pretty well. Inner compartments help prevent movement of components inside while carrying case around. Great price for the simple at heart

I have several of these case to carry my WD My Passport external HD while travelling. Note that the medium case is only slightly larger then the small one. See the photos that I uploaded for the difference.

This case is a must have for anyone with Passport. Its stylish and sturdy and keeps my Passport always available, no matter where I go - its compact so I dont have to be concerned regarding space and weight and it stays clean! I love it!
