Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

This case worked perfectly with my Toshiba portable hard drive. I even had enough space to store my tablets power supply cable in it. This compact little case and my tablet is all I have to carry around. It seems pretty sturdy so if it happens to fall or something, I think it will be ok, and absorb the impact.

Bought this for my Toshiba Canvio 1.0 TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive. It fits perfect. Drive on one side and cables on the other side. Easy to carry and great protection for my external drive.

I bought this to protect My Passport - and it did! I dropped it and if it wasnt in the case Im sure it would have ended up soaked - the case and the Passport ended up in a large puddle. I didnt expect it to be waterproof or water resistant by any means but it was.

The price on this is great. It feels very sturdy. I use it for my Seagate Expansion 1TB Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0 and it fits great with room to spare. This case has a firm shell with a little flex, but its compact size makes it feel even more sturdy. Im pretty sure I could sit on it and my drive would be okay.

I feel confident with this case that I can put my 3TB hard drive in it and it will stay protected.

I have a couple of these for two of the hard drives I use for work. The cases are great but I wish they had a few more colors. It would help to have color options so you can organize your drive by the case color (e.g., software HD, backup HD, archive HD). Its frustrating to have to unzip and look inside. I was thinking about buying another one for a 3rd hard-drive but Im going to have to go with a different brand so I can differentiate them in my computer bag.

Effective at protecting anything

Just started grad school and needed an external hard drive for my dissertation so I need to protect it accordingly as I go back and forth to class. So far this little case has been perfect.
