The chip I replaced is slower, well at least on paper. When I installed this it made the computer much slower

Upgraded from a fx 8350 huge improvements

I wasnt expecting this CPU to be so much faster than my 8 year old i7-3630QM and quieter too but it is. As a bonus I did a FHD nVidia iRay render in less than half the time of the i7-3630QM and with none of the noise!

So.....good i had to get two....

easy as pie to instal and use. runs perfect.

I am in love with AMD after years of buying overprices CPUs from Intel that overheat.

Great CPU, Im trying to build my first PC and I needed a good CPU for my build and the price was great. Comes with a fan cooler for the build so you dont have to buy one.

I never was much of the ADM processor and have always gone with the Intel. I had to put a new computer together and had limited funds so tried the AMD Ryzen 7 2700 over the more expensive iCore7 9 series. I have found that the performance has been as good as the Intel and i have had no heat issues even using the stock heat sink. I have the Oculus Rift and it plays all my VM software with out any Lag even with out the top of the line Video Card.
