Greater than one weekI have purchased a few of the Ryzen processors over the years for various builds I have done and have always found them fast reliable and the price to performance ratio is hard to beat. I was an Intel fanboy for years and was very hesitant to switch over to team Red but in a completely honest opinion I have found these processors to actually preform better than some Team Blue counterparts.

> 3 dayI picked up one of these CPUs for just a hair over 150$ USD, new. For that price, this CPU is the price performance dream come true for system builders of all stripes. While all of the hype and glory have been going to the 3rd generation of Ryzen CPUs (I have one of those as well), the 2700 will nearly match the performance while saving a TON of money. Your games will run smooth, and 8 cores hyperthreaded? Look at it this way. I run a heavily OCd i9 9900x in my personal/content dev. machine. I need the multi-threaded performance without a doubt. However, the 9900x is obviously not a very cost-effective option for a budget conscious build. THIS cpu can be had for just north of 150$, to get a hyperthreaded 8 core intel will set you back at least 3 times that amount. The performance gap? Well, it isnt three times better, I can tell you that much. If you want a fast and EXTREMELY versatile system with 16 processing threads that will set you back all of the cost of an i3, and you are not on the cutting edge of development demand (make no mistake, this CPU shines at development), grab one of these and a < 100$ b450 motherboard and enjoy the win!

Greater than one weekThe install took a whole five seconds. So far I think its the most value per core. On my X570 chipset, the Ryzen 7 2700 (non-X) is clocked at 3.9 GHz stable on all cores. A single 140mm liquid AIO from Corsair is more than enough for cooling. So much so that it can be passively cooled with the fans off when at idle and low load. With a GTX 1650 OC and 32 gigs of ram, it plays call of duty and full resolution and temps stay in the 50s and fans turn on at low speeds. Overall the PC consumes 190 watts at full tilt. I extremely pleased with my purchase look forward to pushing this processor to the absolute edge of its functionality

> 3 dayThe fan is a little wonky... the fan screws into the board instead of clipping into the fan supports... also seems a bit cheezy... I don’t think it will keep up if I oc the chip. I also bought a r7 3800 the fan in there is much much better. And performance is much faster. Overall this is a great value chip but if your gaming I would pony up the cash and get the 3800
