The box was damaged when it arrived. Thankfully the factory seal was intact. However there is visible tampering with the fan and chip - thermal paste fingerprints everywhere, dust inside the fans like it had been opened and left out... or even used. The pre-applied thermal paste on the fan was slightly messy but intact. Very disappointed in the quality of the packing and handling for this $500AUD CPU. I expected better from Amazon.

This CPU is impressive and handle every productivity task I throw without a hitch ! 4K Video editing, file compression is blazing fast ! Yeah it,s not the best at gaming but who care, Im CPU limited with my GTX 1070 in 1080p anyway ... And even game runs 10x better than on my 10 yo i5 2500k even with its clock pushed to the limit @ 5 Ghz ! Thats impressive.

Fantastic processor but installing the fan/cooler is hardddddddd. Feels like youre going to break the clip. Smudged the thermal paste trying to install it because of this.

Die CPU kann ich hier nicht beurteilen, da sie erst im Januar installiert werden wird. - Die Verpackung war nicht angemessen: relativ großer Karton OHNE jede Abpolsterung. Also ist die CPU samt Kühler und Lüfter in jeder Kurve, bei jeder Bewegung hin und her geflogen. Das darf nicht sein! Wir sparen jahrelang auf die neuen PC-Komponenten und dann sind 10 Sekunden offenbar zu viel zur vernünftigen Verpackung ... - Ich bin damit nicht zufrieden.

最新CPUでこれを使って自作PC初製作しましたが、CPUファンも同梱されているのでとりあえず同梱のファンを使用しています。ファンの音も全然気になりませんよ。今後必要があれば別で購入して付け替えるかも。

Did a lot of research on processors to replace my Intel 4790k so I could play MS Flight Sim. Paired with a nice mobo, Ive been very happy with this processor - for the price it has very good performance. I had an AMD machine 20 years ago and was leery b/c it wasnt very stable, but they really have it all together now and give Intel a run for their money. I would gladly buy this processor again and recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful processor at a more reasonable price.

This CPU is a great choice for anybody looking for mid-to-high tier performance. It handles all of my video editing and gaming quite well. Perhaps an R9 model is relatively more powerful, but this CPU is already enough to run anything that I throw at it (meaning that the R9 would be a much better option if it can do things that the R7 CAN NOT, rather than IMPROVE on things that it CAN imo).

İt only worked 7 months. Now cpu is dead. I changed every part of computer and finally found the problem is cpu. Cpu shutting down computer every minute. Thermal paste is new. Even computer shutting below 40 degrees.

Needed an upgrade for my aging i4700K, works as expected, It boot when tasting Sandra, why?? to be discover...
