AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Upgraded from a AMD1800X. Ever want instant on Windows 10? This is it. You can open MS word on the downclick of the mouse and its open before the upclick.... Gaming? Did a bench test in USERBENCHMARK. UFO all the way. There is no game out there that this wont run 100FPS plus easy on max with a good graphics card (which is very important). Currently my GTX Super 2070 is bottlenecking the CPU.... thats crazy. Looking at graph of CPU use during intense gameplay...CPU barely in use, 2-7%, some idle. Lol. Take it I have a 49 super wide monitor at 144Hz and I,m getting over 144FPS (Gsync) match refresh in any game I try on max settings. Laugh at World of Warships with FPS limit took off. Ever see 800 plus FPS??? at 3840x1080 HDR? Abeit thats when its loading on static screen. Once game starts its back to 144Hz. That said, my old 1800X could keep 90-110FPS but was not letting the GPU run freely. Now its crazy fast. And not even overclocked. It running AMD Balanced profile as no need to overclock. I typically buy an upgrade as never ever seen a need ever to overclock a system. Good PSU, good memory, good GPU, and a good CPU is all you need. If you ever need to overclock means one of those components is not up to snuff. Anyone who thinks this CPU is usless in gaming I have to laugh. Its beyond anything out there unless its a threadripper or 3950X plus. Crazy fast at opening programs as fast as you click on them they are open. Games load very fast (SDD).

I bought it for creating and illustrating 3DCGs. Graphics related tools are not able to use GPU assistance for UI operations and some filter operations. CPU performance is important in these situations, and the 3900X allows me to work without stress. You can feel the high performance of the CPU.

This is the best CPU Ive ever had. Renders Vray in 3ds Max faster than any other chip Ive had. The weird part was that a few pins came bent, but got them straightened out and my system booted straight up, so check yours before installing it. Playing Battlefield V at 4k ultra RTX only uses about 30-40% of the power of this thing, so for gaming, its overkill. Photoshop and Premiere love it too. For the price, it beats anything Intel has and the PCI-E gen. 4 allows for the backbone that will keep my computer current for at least a decade. I might trade it in for a 3950x because I built my whole system around that (x570 Aorus Xtreme), but it wouldnt play games any faster and would only help in the render and compiling parts of my day, so with this, I can wait a while till I find one.

No complaints at all. My AIO was fully compatible (thanks to AMD not changing sockets every 5 minutes unlike Intel) and the thermals are always acceptable. Plenty of overclocking headroom as well (thanks to extra 4-pin header on X570 board)

Lo compré para armarme una PC con el poder para edición de video. Muy bueno, la inversión vale mucho la pena. Me tocó comprarlo de importación y no tuve problemas. Incluso llegó más rápido que muchas cosas nacionales.

This CPU is very powerful and can handle everything my household throws at it. We stream video, game, and download files without noticing any major stress being placed on the hardware. The Wraith fan works very well with our setup. The CPU can get hot (as it will) when doing multiple things at once but its not anything that would sway me away from buying this CPU. Could easily fix this with a liquid cool system. Highly recommend this CPU. Just a couple $100 from the 3500X and well worth the additional money.
