AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-core, 32-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

My machine runs a lot faster. Upgraded from a 3900XT and theres a big difference in performance.

I personally love to build PC so I always make one for my relatives and friends. 5950x is for my personal computer (wanted to upgrade from 3950x) and this thing is a BEAST!!! Love it!!!

Be careful, I had to return a version of this because I eagerly clicked to buy the little icon for Adorama - even though its posting on the 5950x, its selling the 3950x.

I got a very good deal with credits saved to splurge on this processor & I am thoroughly impressed. Going from a 2700x to this has been a night & day experience. I tend to have several browser tabs open while doing other things like running TOS or watching YTube vids, photoshop, etc & this processor never skips a beat. Probably overkill but I enjoy it tremendously. Have 32Gb of ram (3200) & 1tb pcie 4 nvme & a 5700xt.

Turns out some CPUs come from factory with a lower clock speed than the rest.

Worth the money , at great value

I love this cpu I got all the cores clocked at 4.6ghz runs amazing!

I built a workstation 2 1/2 years ago with the 3950x with exceptional components in it, as a programmers workstation with Hyper-V. So both single-core and multi-core performance is important. The benchmark numbers show a 29% single thread increase in lab tests but that also shows in real life. Its worth the upgrade in sense of performance. Ill sell the 3950x or use it in another build. The 5950x extends the life of this premium build.

Truly a monster and overkill for a gaming machine. But..... I hate a slow computer and the 16 cores should keep me satisfied for quite a few years.
