American Casino Guide - 2010 Edition

Great book... lots of very useful coupons in it. There are several hundred for Vegas... many of which are worthless (ie: the bogus Hooters free slot play) but there are several matchplays for strip casinos and the $20 free slot play at the Venetian pays for the book by itself. Also recommend checking out the buy one get one free coupon good at any of the Nathans locations for a delicious, cheap meal! Well worth the purchase price of this book!

Disappointed that there were not many buffet coupons for the Las Vegas Strip area. 95% of the buffet coupons were in other areas of Vegas like Boulder, Henderson, Red Rock, or North Las Vegas. It also seems that the gaming coupons are not as good as they used to be. May not buy the book next year.

This book paid for itself. My husband and I bought the book for our trip to Vegas. Being our first time there, we had a lot of tourist type of activities planned. Madame Tussauds, was one placed we really wanted to visit while in Vegas. The tickets run around $25.00 per person. The book offered a buy one get one free voucher, which is where the book paid for itself. In addition to Madame Tussauds, the book offers many buy one get one free deals on various dinner buffets, casino plays, and tickets. My sister-in-law and her husband just got back from Vegas and purchased the book before going. They said it saved them hundreds of dollars on their trip and if they would have been more organized with the vouchers, they would have saved more. Worth the buy!

If you go to Vegas get this book, it will save you lots of money. I have bought two editions. The first time was the best because many of the free points on slots ARE FOR FIRST TIME USERS.

I was dissapointed with this book. It tries to cover everything about Casinos and gambling tips and the end result is that it provides very little in depth information about any particular casino. It also touts that it has valuable coupons. Most of the coupons are available free either on the internet or with casino coupon books that are readily available elsewhere. On the plus side there are good descriptions of casino gaming along with viable betting strategies. Overall, I wanted more detailed information on Casino attractions and deals. This book was not a good source of that type of information.

If you are headed to gamble this is a super book. The book paid for itself when we visited Las Vegas. Many coupons we were able to use in the downtown area. Even if you only use a few coupons, it is worth it. There were some BOGOF offers to absolutely free items just for stopping in. One thing, is you do need to carry the “ card” in the front of the book in order to redeem some of the coupons. Often times, the casinos do ask for it if you don’t have the book.

After purchasing American Casino Guide for many years I was totally disappointed in this years edition. Although the vegas section was good, the offers for the Mississippi Gulf Coast were SORELY LACKING. One buffet offer for the ENTIRE REGION, no hotel deals - disappointed. I am only sorry that I bought based on previous editions instead of researching this years edition. I will definately check before I buy next year.

I can not imagine ANYONE going on vacation to Vegas, and not having this book tucked into their carry-on luggage!! Plenty of info to read on the plane about each casino, including what times the Bellagio Fountains go off, the Mirage volcano, etc, etc. Information in the book about how to play different types of table and casino games (Keno, craps, etc). The coupons alone make this book invaluable. My favorite? - The two-for-one coupon at the Silverton Casino (Blue Diamond Rd and I-15 in Las Vegas). Friday night is their fantastic seafood buffet. Normal cost for the buffet is $20 per person...use this two-fer coupon, and you have saved the cost of this book and MADE a few dollars. You cant go wrong with this book - I love it and buy it every year!!

Were going to Las Vegas on a vacation and I will plan my entertainment and eating according to the coupons available. The book provides many USEFUL coupons that will help me save money and still enjoy a variety of shows, attractions and good and inexpensive restaurants as well.

I purchase this publication each year. If you travel at all it lists all casinos in the country with helpful information about size, food options, and games at each location. If you use just a couple of the coupons in this book it pays for itself and if you use a good number of them you are saving its cost many times over.
