> 3 dayI was dissapointed with this book. It tries to cover everything about Casinos and gambling tips and the end result is that it provides very little in depth information about any particular casino. It also touts that it has valuable coupons. Most of the coupons are available free either on the internet or with casino coupon books that are readily available elsewhere. On the plus side there are good descriptions of casino gaming along with viable betting strategies. Overall, I wanted more detailed information on Casino attractions and deals. This book was not a good source of that type of information.

> 3 daySome interesting reading information in the book, but we found ourselves going out of our way to try to use the coupons, just to try and get our money back. Spent too much time going to casinos that were out of the way and less time just relaxing and enjoing ourselves. I wouldnt suggest that people buy this books before going to vegas, usually hotels will give better coupons anyway.

> 3 dayBought this book mainly for the 2-for-1 coupons for when I go down to Vegas with my wife, but the book itself relating to Casinos and how to play is excellent.

Greater than one weekI mostly bought this for the coupons which I will put to good use on my upcoming trip to Vegas. Roughly $200 in match play coupons for the strip and downtown casinos. With some good luck the book will pay for itself quickly! Also some great food and drink coupons for Vegas casinos. Ive heard some reviews that mention some casinos not accepting the coupons, so I will update my review once Ive tried using them. The only complaint I have is that the coupons arent perforated. It took me nearly an hour to cut them all out.

> 3 dayHave used during trips to Las Vegas and other places with gambling. Even if you dont gamble, you can find some offer that will pay for the cost of the book.

> 3 dayWeve been buying this guide, mostly for Las Vegas coupons, for years. Fortunately we stay downtown, rent a car, and love going to the local and more distant casinos. Probably not worth getting is youre only interested in the LV strip casino coupons.

> 3 dayGreat book for learning casino games as well as casino phone numbers, buffet prices and casino Hotel descriptions. The coupons in the 2011 book are not as good as other years but at this price it still is worth it.

Greater than one weekThis book is still a good source of infomation on the casinos in the USA but the coupon section has really gotten thin over the last edition and the coupons are not as good. If you buy this book for the coupons every year, you may want to rethink purchasing for this year.

> 3 dayUsed this book last year and was very pleased. This years edition does not appear to have as many buffet coupons as last year. However, for its nominal cost, you will easily recoup your money with one or two uses. I found a better buffet coupon book in the Las Vegas Advisor although it costs more, it has many more desirable eating locations. The buffet coupon for the excellant buffet at the Silverton alone is worth buying the book.

> 3 dayThis book is a good value for any visitor to Vegas (in particular). The book has some solid advice about many gambling games, although dont look here for winning advice on how to play poker or bets sports (two of the beatable games offered in a casino). This advice is great for the novice gambler, but someone interested in elevating their game will need to look deeper than this book. That said, the real reason to buy this book is the coupons. It is not too hard to make your money back on the purchase price of this book if you use just 2 or 3 of the right coupons. As stated earlier, however, the largest section of coupons is for Las Vegas, so it is the Las Vegas visitor who will have the easiest time recouping your investment in this book. Look at the coupons closely to see how they fit your intended 2011 travel schedule. It is worth noting that most of the Las Vegas coupons are for casinos away from the more popular South and Central Strip locations. In this regard, it is highly helpful to rent a car to take advantage of all of the Las Vegas coupons. A final, important note: the Sahara casino will be closing in early May. The 2011 American Casino Guide contains a $25 matchplay that will no longer be redeemable after early May, 2011. So, dont factor that coupon into the value of the guide unless you a headed to Vegas in the next month.
