Appion MGAVCT 1/4 MegaFlow Vacuum-Rated Valve Core Removal Tool

Quality, well built, name branded tool that worked like a charm! Had a central ac condenser with a leaking valve core. Watched a few videos and one specifically by this parts manufacturer, Appion. Please watch their video first, then start practice seating replacement valve core into the tool to understand how it feels and holds. You do not want any potential for the valve core to fall off in the process so the fork on the end of the removal tool may have to be spread or snugged SLIGHTLY to hold the core tight. If so, use a pair of pliers to GENTLY do so. This adjustment is so minor you wont be able to see a difference - but you will feel it when inserting the valve core. Once comfortable with your skill fitting the tool, youll need to fit the removal tool to the leaking valve core just as you practices with the new one. Once you are confident it will hold snuggly, re-assemble tool and you can start the repair. Peace

Honestly i haven’t use it but it looks so much better builded than the YJ brand. Cant wait to use it. The back end is magnetic n that’s impressive

Five stars all the way around. Stay away from the Hilmor ones. They’ve failed so many times - appion makes quality. You get what you pay for. Cheap tools aren’t good. Good tools aren’t cheap.

Very easy to use. Not hard to get on fittings or get off at the end of use. The head has a magnetic base. I didn’t see this in description, so I was shocked but amazed. I purchased two but will definitely be buying more as needed. First use was on a recovery of a mini split system for a repair. Great Quality
