Appion MGAVCT 1/4 MegaFlow Vacuum-Rated Valve Core Removal Tool

Love this tool. Makes taking out cores very easy. Ive had a few others that get the job done but this one has been the best. Comes with a rebuil kit as well so you dont have to worry about buying one for if it fails. I use this all the time and it helps me to pull quick vacuums as well.

Whats nice about this is that it comes with extra o-rings and a strong magnet on the core remover end so you can just stick the stem with the valve core on the side of the condenser-2 things that my Yellow Jacket one doesnt have. But not too important is the Appion has a plastic ball valve handle and the yellow jacket one has a metal handle. Not a big deal.

The Schrader removal tool would never catch, even with the instructions followed, just would never catch, ended up releasing alot of refrigerant, luckily I had the right equipment to stop it, and the unit was going to be replaced. Not worth it.

New core remover is not as good as the old. But it still does the Same job

Purchased my original one because I saw them on so many HVACR pro videos. I loved it so much I bought a second one. The seals are great all the way around, the threads on the connections are smooth and the ball valve is leak free. They even include an extra set of o-rings. Ill continue to buy these as/if needed.

Best on the market. Rated down to 20 microns. Great quality. Very durable. Made with quality in mind. Only valve core removal tool I’ll ever buy.

Great product works very well

Pulled one vacuum correctly and will not put schrader back into position. I’m not sure if I just got a dud but very disappointed
