> 3 dayI live in Southern Louisiana and I have a very small , cramped bathroom that gets unbearably hot during the summer months. A pregular fan wasn’t helping at all and I wanted to try something different , but cost effective . This little a/c is perfect . I wet the filter then pop it in the freezer for about 15 mins and then add ice water into the basin and I’m able to shower and get ready for work comfortably ! It’s a simple , cost efficient way to cool down the small room . !

> 3 dayNot going to cool a whole room but if you freeze the pad it definitely helps keeps a personal bubble of coolness for a good amount of time

> 3 dayI keep mine on my nightstand close to my bed. The air is nice and cool, fan, temp adjustable. Nice to have close by. Easy fill at the top, just pour in a bottle of water…or add ICE for even cooler breeze. Runs for hours on that bottle of water that filled it. DISLIKE: it has 8 different colors (why? I have NO idea) and it is irritating as heck. When you turn it on, the color comes up, you have no choice. So now you scroll thru 8 dang colors to get rid of them. I want it for COOL, NOT a party color. The manual on this account says nothing about how to rid them from the cooler. But all in all…..it is a great little cooler.

> 3 dayI am extremely disappointed with this product. This is the first 2.0 that I have purchased and it being a 2.0 you would think that it would be better than the original but it isnt. I purchased this product last week and hooked it up as soon as I received it. To my surprise midway through the night my floor was wet from it leaking and my room was hot. The original version of this product worked great but unfortunately I cant say the same for this one.

Greater than one weekEverything came as pictured. Followed the directions BUT if the room is hot it doesnt really cool it down but for a few minutes. Not worth what we paid for it.

> 3 dayUpon first use, I found the unit easy to use without reading the directions. I would suggest distilled water to keep down contaminants. It does what it says I am well pleased with the unit overall. The only thing in the description that I was a little mislead to think it had a built in battery pack so you could use it just about anywhere. Cant give 5 stars for that reason. If you want to take this camping and use inside your tent or over your hammock I would suggest an external portable power pack for the unit then you would be golden. Overall I am impressed know the design is based on a swamp cooler which works better in higher humid areas than areas with low humidity. Southern states and states like AZ will find this unit great to use, Northern states may not get the same results. But was well worth the investment! Even small enough to pack away in a backpack if I want!

> 3 dayIve seen some of the other reviews complaining this little evaporative cooler fan isnt blasting cold air...well jeez, for $40, youre not going to get central air conditioning. I set mine on my patio table (here in hot sunny Arizona), keep the dampened cooler pad grid in the freezer so it can chill, grab a cup of ice cubes and a bit of water, pour into to the top of the unit, install the frozen pad grid, and turn it on. It doesnt put out really cold air, just cooler air. It has an adjustable vent so you can aim it up or down. Its not all that quiet, especially in Turbo mode, but not an issue outside for me. I do understand some reviewers mentioning the lighting issue (because they are trying to use this to help them sleep). Even with all the LED light options turned OFF, the power and mode LEDs (amber), still stay lit, and shine through the plastic housing. Duct tape should resolve that. Overall, I didnt expect greatness from this little box, but it does beat a regular desktop fan (and my outdoor ceiling fan) that just blows hot air around. It doesnt take up a lot of space, and the small Micro-USB cable doesnt get in the way, or become difficult to manage. Arctic...no, cool breeze....sure. Long lasting...only until the ice cubes melt and the pads dry out, but by then, Im ready to head back indoors for more ice, and a cocktail refill. Cheers!

Greater than one weekI bought this unit to cool my bedroom so that I could turn off my central heat and air. It made no sense to cool the entire house if I could just stay in one room and cool that. I was hoping that this unit would be a money saver as my money doesn’t go as far as it used to. Although I found it to blow cool air consistently, it did not cool the entire room. The instructions to for best results to use ice cubes but I don’t have an icemaker, so I just used water. The results were mediocre and I returned it.

> 3 dayYes it does work. For an individual, that is! Its not gonna cool a room but IT WILL cool you off. The only glitch Im finding is you HAVE TO have it lit up!! I use at night and do not care for any lighting!!! There needs to be an OFF for lights. Im adding this a while later but 2 Cups of water will NOT last for 6-8 hrs. No way, so, they need to clarify that. But. Like I said, it will cool YOU off. Now Im noticing after 2 mos of almost nightly use, it is losing its capacity to run on high. Im a person who cannot sleep HOT and this machine helps but Ill have to find something else if this continues diminishing fan speed.
