> 3 dayI bought the ARCTIC MX-4 thermal paste for my old Asus X54C laptop from 2012 which I am still having to use daily. Idle temperatures were 55-58°C, while the temperature under 100% load during video encoding was 99°C. After application of the ARCTIC MX-4 thermal paste, and cleaning of the radiator grill, the idle temperatures dropped to as low as 41°C, and temperature under 100% CPU load during video-encoding dropped to 74°C max! So I have achieved a temperature drop of 25-26°C under 100% CPU load - this is simply epic! For its price, nothing can beat the royal performance of the ARCTIC MX-4 - it is the absolute undisputed king!

> 3 dayI replace the thermal compound in my system around every 4 months because its easier to clean the cpu air cooler fins with it removed. I had been using a tube of generic thermal compound Id had for a while but it never seemed to do that great a job or last very long as the temps would start creeping up. I decided to get a tube of MX-4 and applied it to both the CPU and GPU. I expected a bit of an improvement, I didnt expect it to be a 15-20 degree improvement. The temps track the load closely with cooldown happening very quickly when going from a high to a low load. It comes with a little spreading spatula in case you dont want to use your finger. Arctic doesnt suggest just letting it squish into place. The four gram tube I got will last me a long time even if my housemate wants to use it as well.

> 3 dayWas using original thermal paste that came with my processor when I built my PC 4 yrs ago. It was normally running pretty hot at around 60°C. After cleaning the old stuff off and applying this, my processor was running at 28°-30°C... more than half the running temp before applying this new paste. Awesome stuff!
