It works perfectly fine! it does what it is supposed to do if properly applied. one should not apply too much of it.

As ordered. Appears to be real. Even with out the breaking period complete, and the stock heat-sink and fan. It keeps the most powerful Core 2 Duo chip ever made at stable temps under load. Core 2 Duo E8600 @ 3.33 Ghz, 1333 Mhz FSB, 6MB cache.

How do you rate a paste?..

My computer was running EXTREMELY slow (3-5 minutes per click). I took it apart and replaced the thermal paste that came on the Corsair cooler and its working fast again.

Ive used a lot of heat transfer compounds in the past. This stuff is better than all of them. Dont get it on you (wear gloves) as its hard to get off. Its a very thick compound, so it stays put. Used in conjunction with a new chip I was able to completely fix my Samsung DLP TV. Definitely buy those two together. The factory heat transfer material is a joke. Id bet that theres not really anything wrong with the factory chip design, and that they burn out from overheating rather than a defect. The heat sink in generous, there just needs to be a better transfer medium between the chip and the sink. Thanks Arctic Silver!

Excellent thermal paste. It does what its made to do. Transfer heat from the CPU to the CPU cooling system.

I upgraded my kids PCs with the fastest processors theyll take, but they started shutting down immediately afterwards. I did some research online, and found out I needed to upgrade the cooling. Problem was, these are low-profile desktops, and theres no room for bigger heatsink/fan assemblies.
