Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

I have an i5-2500k. My cooling system is pretty weak because I want it to be quiet. Before applying this paste, the idle temperature was about 45C. When I applied the paste I did not bother to clean the old paste. Even so, now my idle temperature is only 35-37.

This does its job perfectly. I went form CPU temps of over 95 C to actually functioning within desired parameters.

After all these years, this is still my go-to for thermal paste. Keeps CPU temperatures nice and cool and easy to apply. High viscosity means it doesnt run everywhere even when things start to heat up.

Fixed my old PS3 from the red blinking light of death. I would recommend this product because it has enough for at least to jobs.

Used this after doing a kitchen oven reflow on my PS3 to fix the YLOD. I cant believe it worked. Still working after a couple of months too!

picked this up for like 7 bucks or so. Way better than stock paste that comes with products you buy. Can get a 4-5c degree difference just with the paste. You do have to watch how much you apply. It spreads like a champ or like butta :)

Viscous compound, spreads well {not to squishy}. Temps with after market coolers on an OC I5 is 36 to 37 C idle. Follow directions from thier website PDF instructions. Do not watch youtube, or even newegg how tos.
