Upgraded from an ASUS from 2016, and I can’t be any happier with my purchase! Computer runs absolutely flawlessly! I tested on Apex Legends (The main game I play) - 300fps on ultra graphics without even so much as a hiccup! Tested there after on some other games (Elder Scrolls Online, New world, Guild Wars 2, Overwatch and CoD - Warzone) all running absolutely perfect!

Big dissapointment since I like Asus gaming laptops, but after jumping through hoops of Asus Customer Support and constantly having to remind them what the issue was, and that the device serial number doesnt register on their support site? This is the worst laptop and customer support I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY at the moment, the laptop power button and lights work but the system and screen does not turn on. I have tested the computer on a second monitor and have tried every single guide available for Asus Laptop with black screen and none of them work. I contacted Asus Customer Support via calls and for 30 mins straight, all they could confirm was that my serial number was invalid and told me to wait for Customer Support emails for assistance. This morning, I woke up to the first Customer Support email asking me why I didnt just register the serial number for customer support assistance, to which I have to explain why that isnt possible AGAIN. The second email I got was from another Customer Support individual who says that he has read all of my information (finally) and concluded that my serial number is in fact VALID then immediately concluded that my problem is resolved. News flash, I am still $2000 poorer and my gaming laptop is still broken and they have done absolutely nothing to address this issue, despite me asking for a replacement or simply just provide guides to help me fix the laptop. If I have read everything correctly, the manufacture is responsible if the product is faulty and the insurance I purchased with the laptop only applies if the laptop itself is damaged by outside elements like spillage and they cant even get that sorted out. You are risking wasting your money, time and mental well being by buying this glorified rainbow paperweight and believe that customer support will help you out. They wont and will only make your day worse.

I did a LOT of research for a new gaming rig. Normally, I build Desktops. but decided to look and se what Laptops had to offer. Now, I am no E-Sports gamer or anything, but I love for my games to run smoothly. I connect this thing to my Samsung Odessey G9 (5120x1440 native) and crank everything to max and go... Games run smooth, the fans arent too loud and I would highly suggest a cooling pad to get just a bit more out of this thing.

This was the only laptop that met with my requirements, minus 1. Touch screen would have been nice. Espcially when I accidently disabled the touch pad and didnt have an external mouse to use to fix it. Other than that it is AWSOME!!!

Coming from a desktop rig I built in 2019 (ryzen 7 3700x, rtx 2070 super, 32gb ram) this thing annihilates it in gaming. Some initial thoughts after playing with it for a few hours tonight:

This is a decent laptop, but the lights are EXTREMELY annoying and I havent been able to turn them off yet.
