I’ve used this on my peloton bike for the last 12 months. All of a sudden it’s no longer charging. It seems like the charging port has gone bad. The battery life would last around 1 hour on high. It was powerful enough to keep me cool but would die if I did longer than an hour long workout. I’ve upgraded to a new fan that has a much longer battery life. This was fine for the year it worked. You get what you pay for.

We used two of these fans for our twin babies at the zoo to keep them cool. We ran them on the lowest setting for four hours or more. They ran great and did a great job providing enough of a breeze to keep the babies cool and kept the mosquitos off of them too. We then used them for a couple of outings to keep the bugs off, also on the lowest setting before we had to charge them. So we probably ran them for about six hours on the lowest setting which is true to other reviews and the product description. The lowest setting produced a low hum that was audible but not obnoxious. At higher settings it was more obvious but all fans make some kind of noise so I wasn’t surprised. It’s obviously as portable as it can be, we were pleased with it. I only give things 5 stars if they go above and beyond my expectations. This fan does a great job for what a portable fan needs to do with a seemingly decent battery life. I haven’t really used it much beyond about 6 hours of use so I can’t vouch for its longevity or the battery’s longevity. But at least you can get extra batteries off amazon!

I’ve used this several times on our jogging stroller while at theme parks, beaches and on our daily walks. Pros -the battery lasts a VERY long time. I used it multiple full days in a row (Disney, zoo, beach) and I never needed to recharge it. -when the stroller shade is down and the fan is on max speed it keeps the inside of the stroller VERY cool. One day it was 112 outside and he took a nap holding his blanket while under his stroller canapy with the fan on max and he started to get cold! I had to turn down the fan :) -the speed when on max is very fast and gives a great high energy wind. -you can adjust it to barely moving which allows a slight circulation. -very portable. I keep in in our stroller basket and it takes up very little space. Cons -the speed is controlled by turning the dial. There are no preset speed buttons. So I find that when I’m jogging and I need to turn up the fan or lower it just a bit I end up adjusting way too much. I wish I could just click to low/medium/high etc -the fan doesn’t stay in the location that you put it. For example- after I clip it to the stroller I rotate the fan so that it’s blowing to the left of my son. After a few feet of walking on an even surface it’s dropped and in a completely different position. When in motion it will NOT stay facing the way I position it. I think it’s a great fan for use on a desk or stationary item. It has a lot of power and has helped us stay cool in the desert heat. However, I wouldn’t purchase again for myself or for another mom since the fan rotated all over the place when you just want it to stay pointed in a single direction. Great fan but not for strollers.

On and off switch came missing. No way to turn fan off. Im returning it. Also fan requires some special type of battery. Battery comes with but just a heads up.

So far, so good. Only real issue is that the back cover for the battery fell off and won’t stay on. Not a huge deal for me but something to note. Fits on my Peloton and works well and I like that I can move it when I move to the mat to continue exercising or stretching. Overall happy with the fan.

This is a great portable fan for the price. I got it for my son to use on the stroller in the hot months and it worked great. You can rotate it literally any direction, so I got to enjoy it too when he would run around. Now that it’s cold I use it in our bedroom in place of our larger fan since we have a newborn in there too. My issue with using it for long periods of time inside is the battery/ power level. When it’s charging it will only work on low, and when it’s not charging and on a higher level, it won’t last through the night. The low is pretty quiet as well, which could be a positive for some people, but I use a fan for the noise just as much as air circulation. I should also say this is my second fan from this company. The one I bought originally broke after about four months. The charging port just fell into the fan so it was basically useless. The company was AMAZING to work with though, and within a few days I had a new fan sent out to me. All in all, I highly recommend this fan and company.

Current usage update: So, we had bought 3 of these fans and now, after two years, we are down to just one now. Although they are great, they just don’t last. Keep in mind we use them for about two hours at a time and maybe once a week on average. One, with the dial on the base and two batteries had just stopped working and the other one with a single battery had issues with the usb connection. I think it might be soldered poorly and makes intermittent contact which worried me so I stopped using it. I am about to order another. Regardless, these are pretty great when functioning. The only irritating thing is that if they are plugged into an external battery the fan speed is poor compared to when it is just running off its own battery. I even tried removing the battery and running it but still runs poorly. We just keep them charged and run them full blast and plug them in when we stop. On camping trips in the north east, these are great for the kids. Our external packs kept them running all night. Hence my average on 2 hours once a week. We don’t use them during the winter, spring or fall. UPDATE: SkyGenius had contacted me and offered to replace the fan. The new one came in and I had turned it on and let it drain. After it drained, I had recharged it and it worked again just as long. The output is great and fairly quiet. Our baby likes the extra air movement when shes in the stroller and we have to cover her up due to the sun. Shes a ginger with sensitive skin. Id give SkyGenius a perfect 10 in trying to remedy this faulty fan! Customer Service was top notch. I bought this fan exclusively for our road trip to Boston for when our 13week old baby needed a little extra air. It worked great until the battery die after first use and I tried to recharge it. It never recharged again and the light (assuming a light that shows the charging status) never comes on. This this is now useless and Ive gone past the return period since we were traveling for a few weeks. Junk. At least this one.

The clip is so strong & holds so well. There really isn’t a good spot on my treadmill so I tried the grip & it’s definitely almost all the way extended & it’s still holding. Even with the movement from walking or running. Very impressed. I also used it outside to tan & I clipped it on another round pole & it hangs on great! No slipping or falling off. The speed options are awesome, I usually just use it on the lowest & it’s plenty but the option of like so much more power is just impressive. I love that the battery is rechargeable, I thought it was going to be like regular batteries but nope, it recharges with a usb. I am just blown away. I thought I was buying a cheap little fan & this ended up blowing (ha ha) my expectations out of the water.

I used this fan during a hot summer in Virginia with 90 degrees + and 100% humidity with my then-3 month old son and it was a lifesaver to keep him cool. It clipped to the handle of the Graco Snugride Snuglock carseat while traveling in the car or stroller system. The USB charging cable attached to both my apple phone adapter and my car charging port for on the go charges. Prior to buying this fan I bought the FlePow which I returned due to awful battery life. This fan doesnt have the longest life but it was longer than the other product. The downside of this fan compared to the first was that it takes two batteries instead of 1, making the fan heavier. Also, the wheel to adjust the power of the fan is small and located in the back, which you have to feel around to find. I preferred the FlePow knob located in the front of the fan. The fan operates quietly and is quite strong and it did what I needed it to do. It was compact enough to fit easily into my diaper bag so that it didnt fry in the hot car.

This is a cool little fan, pun intended. I have used it at the gym for over 4 hours total. It wont clip onto the sides of an elliptical or treadmill as shown in the pictures, but will clip onto the small lip/shelve on the elliptical and clip onto the cubby/lip on the treadmill just fine. I run it on the slowest speed and it moves a lot of air. I had to remove the 2 plastic covers on both sides to tighten the small screws to keep the fan pointed in my direction otherwise the fan kept slowly rotating downward and the air flow not at my neck/face area. Battery: I have many 18650 batteries that I use in my LED torches (Flashlights). The fans 18650 is a bit shorter than all my other 18650s. None of my 18650s fit into the battery compartment on this fan. So when this battery fails to take a charge I think that will be it. SkyGenius decal on the front of the fan is crooked, not level. I took it off and then reapplied correctly. Overall, I like it. SG battery is the one on the right. Its the pinkish/purple one. Notice the height differences.
