Really like this vacuum. I have owned it for two years with no issues. It has plenty of power and does everything I expect it to. I had a battery powered one prior to this and really disliked it because I couldnt get through one set of stairs without it dying on me. That was the reason I purchased this one. The hose is very useful and takes care of the problem some people were complaining about with the air blowing stuff around. I highly recommend spending the extra $10 to get it. We have a cat and a lab and this handles the hair just fine. One note that could improve the product. The cord could be removable near the base of the unit. I know this voided the warranty, but I cut the cord and installed a connector near the base. This allows me to unplug the unit when I need to empty it and not take the entire cord with me. Dont do this if you dont know what you are doing when it comes to electricity. I do that kind of stuff for work. Pros: 1) Powerful 2) Can do one set of 13 stairs before needing to be emptied 3) The attachments are handy 4) Doesnt need to be charged 5) Not to heavy (Average size man in 20s) Cons: 1) Cord was a little cumbersome until I fixed it

This was amazing for my couch! Will be super useful for small areas my vacuum can’t get to either

I really want to like this vacuum more because it works so well on getting pet hair out of the carpet (I have a rabbit). This is the 3rd vacuum Ive bought to try to help clean up her pen and the wide mouth without any tubes helps with the stray bits of hay too. But the vent on the sides blow up the dust/debris before you can get to it. Its pretty frustrating! Luckily I read reviews knew to put some paper around the vents to re-direct the air (but it felt like it was getting kind of hot). I thought the reviews might be exaggerating, but its strong enough to blow stuff around on carpet and it was especially bad on our hardwood floors. Someone suggested using the tube attachments to get around this, but I want to use the rubber for the hair and I found that hay kept getting stuck in the tube when I tried on a different vacuum--maybe a problem particular to me. Update: I taped cereal boxes around the vents to make them point up and that helps it not blow away fur/dust not make it get hot. I wish it had been designed better at the start!

Works well. Sturdy. But the side blower blows away hair - especially on steps.

I chose this over the smaller cousin that Bissell offers primarily for the adapters that it came with. This vacuum isnt too loud, considering its got a tiny motor (generally the smaller the louder, whinier they become), and the suction is quite phenomenal. Previously we owned a cordless vac, which turned out to be a mistake, as the battery eventually died in a few months, and overheated to the point of turning the pearly white plastic case to turn a dark shade of sweat-yellow. Eurk. I have to say, this handheld is very cute. It reminds me of a mouse, and the color is pleasantly akin to a fresh wedge of cheddar cheese. It is very light, and the control handle is intuitive in both the left and right hands. As this unit is not cord-free, they provide a velcro strap for people to wrap up the cables. If youre careful, you can rewrap the cord quite similarly to how it came packaged, as the rubber/inner wire has partially molded into that wrapped up shape. If youre not one to roll up cables properly, Im not sure why youd be looking into a smaller hand held vac in the first place :) A small gripe is that theres no way to store all the additional accessories of the unit, nor does it come with a handy pouch to keep them in one spot when not in use. Not a biggie, but still something that I feel was overlooked. Additionally, the tube that is supplied with the unit is fairly short. I find myself stooping a lot, so Im not sure if they kept it short to maintain a low manufacturing cost of the tubes, or if you lose more suction with a longer length. Cleaning the unit is super easy; one click and the unit pops out. Do this over a trash can, because a lot of gunk hangs onto the filter, which in turn remains on the vacuum, and does not come off with the clear plastic area, which means youll get some spillage. Using this, I was able to pick up bark from a plant accident in my car, bits of paper and fluff from in front of the dryer, lots of my girlfriends hair from the staircase (with just a few spontaneous fly-bys), even longer pieces of plastic, and eventually, I will pick up the feces of my new hamster, Zoey! For some people it might not be worth $40 to spend on a vacuum. There are certainly different brands out there. But this one really packs in on the suction power and comes with a generous length of cord, which make cleaning the stairs a joyous occasion now.

There are very few things Ive purchased that I rave about. But this is one. Ive owned about ten small handheld vacuums, and about 100 larger vacuum cleaners over my lifetime (literally, thanks to my Xs and teenage daughters ignoring my pleas not to suck up furniture, clothing items, entire wire spools, etc. into the vacuum. Bad for the motor). The small ones I generally used for my office (I was high ranking enough to have an office, but low enough not to have it vacuumed more than yearly), small apartments, cars, furniture, etc. By FAR this is the best. Dont be put off because it doesnt have a rotating brush--these just are bombs looking to explode. At a minimum they break often, and get stuck, and by the time you smell the awful burning aroma, the motor is cooked. This has plenty of power. The variety of attachments is imaginative and useful. The funniest use Ive had for it was vacuuming my profoundly deaf cat. To her, it the vibrations just felt like a purr, and even after a flea treatment and combing, it pulled a few fleas out which I could see in the clear filter. Forget the chargeable ones. They work well for about 5 minutes. Like any other vacuum, this will only work as well as you keep the screen and filters clean, so dont let them get too clogged. Theyre easy to remove and shake the debris out of, so its plus, plus, plus in my book.

This worked really well for getting dog hair off the furniture. The cord is nice and long so I didnt have any problems manuvering. So glad I bought it.

This little vacuum worked better than any handheld vacuum Ive ever had. It has great suction and does a superior job of getting the dog hair out of stair edges. There is easy cleanup on the canister and filter.
