Im a full time RVer so space is a premium. Reg. vac is too bulky and battery powered hand-held vac lacks power. This is small, lightweight A/C powered vac is perfect. Plenty of suction to easily hold this 2 board. The Bissel attachments included are great for fabrics, rugs, carpets, crevices. Not included are extension wands, floor nozzle and soft brush duster. So, I decided to buy a generic package of these. The generic floor nozzle with extension wands work great as a floor vac esp. hard surfaces, and the generic duster works for shelving, ceiling corners and tight areas. The only negative is I wish Bissel included these attachments with their vac.

I got this little vacuum for my laundry room. I have 3 dogs and that means I get lots of hair along with lint in my dryer filter. When I wash the boys kennel bedding the fur level is at its peak. But everyday washing still generates a lot of lint and some fur. I used to drag my large upright vacuum into the laundry room put the hose and extension on and then have to walk and work around it just so I could vacuum the fuzz from my lint filter and off the floor and that nice little spot between the filter and the door that just likes to catch every piece of fuzz and fur and who knows what imaginable. My laundry room is in one of my bathrooms and if I didnt get the laundry all done that day, the vacuum would stay in there and really be in the way. So began my hunt for a little dust busting vacuum. This little sucker has a hose attachment with just the right tip so I can get into the lint filter cubby and all the other little spots lint builds up in. It does get full quick because now I just suck the entire lint filter clean with it. But it has some serious suction and picks everything up. Its nothing like the dust busters I remember from my childhood that my mother would fight with because it was worthless. The cord is very long. Its a very light unit making it a snap to carry and store. The tank snaps off with ease and you can carry it to the garage without it dropping its contents everywhere. The fan on the side is very powerful and the filter does a great job. Overall this little unit is impressive and the $40.00 I spent on it is nothing compared to its convenience and friendliness.

I love this!! (Bissell 47R51) Its so easy to use, carry around, switch out attachments, and empty. At first I thought the rubber head attachment was going to be annoying to use and useless, but it is AMAZING at scraping up pet hair from carpet. I shaved my long haired dachshund in a room with a short weave carpet, and when I was done the hair was matted into the carpet all over the place (stupid oversight on my part, I know), but the bumpy rubber head attachment easily cleaned it up beautifully and only took about 5 minutes or so. The side of the HEPA filter that faces the dirt canister gets pretty gross with dirt and dust (the other side of it still looks brand new), and it cant be washed, but I just take it out and wipe it down, tap the edge, and blow out the crevices with an air can and havent had any issues. I dont feel any loss of suction so far, so I probably wont buy a new filter until that starts to happen, which I dont forsee being an issue anytime soon with my moderate use. Theres also a screen that goes over the filter and that part can be rinsed clean with water. The cord is a generous length. The hose attachment is handy and can be used as an open hose end or with one of the other attachments. The handle is a little odd since it faces forward, but the vacuum is lightweight enough that its still easily maneuverable and the design actually makes for easier access to the on/off switch. This is easily the best handheld vacuum Ive ever owned.

This little miracle corded vacuum 47R51 by Bissell out preforms all of the battery operated small vacuums. The is because it is corded and has more power and also because it is a Bissell product, from a line of manufacturers in vacuums known for top quality and performance. I wish Bissell made this same corded vacuum in a hand held vacuum that could be one and 1/2 times as large so that the see through cannister would be able to hold more dire and hair and cat litter. The only disadvantage of this product is the fact that it is too small and has to be emptied more frequently than another vacuum might be emptied. The replicable filters are useful and do not cost much and do not have to be replaced at every emptying of the dirt trap. Also, taking it apart and reassembling it is very easy and much more logical than other small vacuums in its category. Remember, power is related to the ability to plug a unit into an electrical source. Forget about the battery charging units, the amount of time that they perform before recharging is too limited.

I have bought many handheld vacuums in the past only to be disappointed with weak suction. This little vacuum has as much suction power as a regular upright!! I’ve used in my car, on steps, and blanket that my cat naps on. On every occasion, it works like a charm! Makes short work of any cleaning. Would recommend to anyone

I had low expectations. Its not expensive. The cord is very long. I have a Dyson so getting this I thought was overkill but the extension does reach areas I couldnt get to with the Dyson. Ive had to give myself a haircut because of Covid and this thing cleans up all the hair. Its also more convenient to use in some hard to reach places than my Dyson. Its worth every cent Update- The nozzle that connects attachments to the vacuum has fallen off twice so far. Its a design flaw. I dont see a workaround. So reducing my 5 star review to a 2 star review. I would not have bought it if I knew this would happen. Maybe Ill return it. I dont have the box anymore so it will be a hassle. Update again- Ive been using this for a year and its awesome. Sometimes the nozzle pops off but it takes a second to put it back on. It gets all the hair off the floor. Love this thing

5.006/18/2018 SO FAR SO GOOD: EXCELLENT HAND VAC FOR PET FUR PICKUP Best Uses Pet Hair on furniture and other pet sleeping areas Our cat and two dogs are allowed on a few pieces of furniture. We have looked long and far for a dustbuster hand vac which actually will pick up pet hair and lint without damaging the surface of the furniture and which has the suction to pick up all the hair. When our latest iteration of a hand vac died, we did some research and discovered Bissell. After reading the reviews we could find, we settled on the Deluxe Corded Hand Vac - 47R51. We were concerned that one review said the filter became clogged and had to be replaced often. Even so, we decided to order the 47R51 and we are so glad we did. It picks up pet hair far more easily and more quickly than any hand vac we have ever owned. We do not understand the criticism because we are able to empty the pet hair quickly and easily. We have only been using the 47R51 for three weeks, so our experience is limited. However, I would buy another one today is we were to break the one we currently have. We are not sure how or why it works so well, but it does.
