> 3 dayThis little vacuum has power! It is by far the best Ive ever used for getting pet hair off the couch. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat and they all get on the furniture. It sucks up all the hair. I love the long cord also. It works really well.

> 3 dayI wanted to love this machine, but it just didnt happen. I bought it to use on my stairs, since my regular vacuum is a huge upright that falls over really easily when using the handheld tools. I wanted a corded handheld so that over time, I didnt lose suction power as the battery deteriorated. First issue: the wide attachment has two strips of fabric, one on either side, to help pick up hair. On the first stair, one strip came off. THE VERY FIRST USE! How is this going to last me for years when something falls apart on the first use? There was still some glue residue on the tool, so stuff was getting stuck there instead of being vacuumed up. The second issue I had could easily be overlooked if I didnt have any other problems, but since I did, it was just one more tick against this vacuum. The cord length is very awkward. It is really long for a compact little machine, but just barely too short to clean an entire flight of stairs. I had to pause part-way though the stairs to move the plug to a different outlet, but still took a long time to wrap the cord up, and it takes up just as much space as the handheld itself. The third issue to me is the worst: after one flight of stairs, I had to let it sit for over 2 hours to cool down before I could use it again. I could not believe how hot it got so quickly. Very worrisome. The pro of this handheld is that it did have pretty good suction power, but if you arent using the attachments, you have to hold it at the perfect angle to take advantage of the suction... kind of annoying. Overall, was not impressed with this product, and I dont think it is worth the price. Returned it. Normally, I trust Bissell products, and have replaced this with a different Bissell machine that I am much happier with. I dont have pets, so I cant comment on how well it does with animal hair. Maybe thats all its good for.

> 3 dayI have a dark cat and a white couch and have been stressed over it for 3 years. Not anymore!! This lightweight. Easy to handle little appliance has changed it all. I now quickly vacuum my big couch down in less than 3 minutes!! I like it so much that I bought one for our family cabin in the mountains, too. Also great for window sills!!

> 3 dayThis is a good alternative for one of those large home vaccums that weight too much. In terms of price, suction and portability, this is definitely a winner as it excells in all of these categories. I have mostly used it to clean up the inside of cars, and I like that it is very light for the amount of suction that it holds. Best thing is that it is wired, so no messing around with loss of suction due to low battery level.

> 3 dayI wanted a corded small vacuum for cleaning furniture. It works pretty well.

> 3 dayI bought this handheld mini-vacuum rather than other manufacturers, because it is a plug in electric cord. I want to make sure I dont put lithium batteries in my house. There are many electric bikes charged in apartments in NYC which have caused deadly fires. Most other manufacturers were using lithium batteries.

Greater than one weekAfter spending hours researching brands, reading reviews and considering pros and cons of a corded/cordless vacuum, I decided on this Bissell which has a 16 foot cord. I chose it based on reviews, Bissell reputation and cord length. To do the car, I have to use an extension cord, but thats ok. There were so many negative reviews of many cordless brands, I decided to go with a more tried and true option. The company is over 100 years old so I figured they know how to make a vacuum. The box says The Netherlands, not China. Thats a plus. Comes with one year warranty, washable filter, 3 attachments and is easy to open. The plastic is thick and sturdy but still lightweight. I tested it on a throw rug with sand and small pebbles and cleaned my van. It has great suction and I expect it to last a decade of car cleaning.

> 3 dayReally like this vacuum. I have owned it for two years with no issues. It has plenty of power and does everything I expect it to. I had a battery powered one prior to this and really disliked it because I couldnt get through one set of stairs without it dying on me. That was the reason I purchased this one. The hose is very useful and takes care of the problem some people were complaining about with the air blowing stuff around. I highly recommend spending the extra $10 to get it. We have a cat and a lab and this handles the hair just fine. One note that could improve the product. The cord could be removable near the base of the unit. I know this voided the warranty, but I cut the cord and installed a connector near the base. This allows me to unplug the unit when I need to empty it and not take the entire cord with me. Dont do this if you dont know what you are doing when it comes to electricity. I do that kind of stuff for work. Pros: 1) Powerful 2) Can do one set of 13 stairs before needing to be emptied 3) The attachments are handy 4) Doesnt need to be charged 5) Not to heavy (Average size man in 20s) Cons: 1) Cord was a little cumbersome until I fixed it

Greater than one weekI chose this over the smaller cousin that Bissell offers primarily for the adapters that it came with. This vacuum isnt too loud, considering its got a tiny motor (generally the smaller the louder, whinier they become), and the suction is quite phenomenal. Previously we owned a cordless vac, which turned out to be a mistake, as the battery eventually died in a few months, and overheated to the point of turning the pearly white plastic case to turn a dark shade of sweat-yellow. Eurk. I have to say, this handheld is very cute. It reminds me of a mouse, and the color is pleasantly akin to a fresh wedge of cheddar cheese. It is very light, and the control handle is intuitive in both the left and right hands. As this unit is not cord-free, they provide a velcro strap for people to wrap up the cables. If youre careful, you can rewrap the cord quite similarly to how it came packaged, as the rubber/inner wire has partially molded into that wrapped up shape. If youre not one to roll up cables properly, Im not sure why youd be looking into a smaller hand held vac in the first place :) A small gripe is that theres no way to store all the additional accessories of the unit, nor does it come with a handy pouch to keep them in one spot when not in use. Not a biggie, but still something that I feel was overlooked. Additionally, the tube that is supplied with the unit is fairly short. I find myself stooping a lot, so Im not sure if they kept it short to maintain a low manufacturing cost of the tubes, or if you lose more suction with a longer length. Cleaning the unit is super easy; one click and the unit pops out. Do this over a trash can, because a lot of gunk hangs onto the filter, which in turn remains on the vacuum, and does not come off with the clear plastic area, which means youll get some spillage. Using this, I was able to pick up bark from a plant accident in my car, bits of paper and fluff from in front of the dryer, lots of my girlfriends hair from the staircase (with just a few spontaneous fly-bys), even longer pieces of plastic, and eventually, I will pick up the feces of my new hamster, Zoey! For some people it might not be worth $40 to spend on a vacuum. There are certainly different brands out there. But this one really packs in on the suction power and comes with a generous length of cord, which make cleaning the stairs a joyous occasion now.
