Greater than one weekTo be as brief as possible this is a cool machine in theory but it does not save any time nor does it do a comparable job to a steam mop if that’s what you’re looking for. I cleaned our large kitchen and two bathrooms today. I had the robot vacuum clean the kitchen and one of the bathrooms this morning understanding that in theory I did not need to, but expecting it probably wouldn’t hurt to make a first pass in those areas as we have a couple of dogs. It did a nice job grabbing the debris the robot had missed. And the mopping seemed okay too. I used the enclosed cleaner solution for the hard surface sanitize the first run but just used plain water after that as I didn’t love the residual cloudiness on the floor - and I ended up going back over everything with just plain water that I had already covered with the cleaning solution for this reason. Which honestly wasn’t a big deal because the dirty water tank fills up so quickly! Annoyingly quick. It is no where close to accommodating the large fill from the clean water tank. I didn’t count but I had to stop and empty the tank/refill at least 6 or 7 times between the three rooms. The steam it emits is not significant, but it does do a good job of sucking the water back up. The floor dried quickly. But it is LOUD So loud. In our main bathroom, where I did not run the vacuum prior, it did an excellent job grabbing all of the hair that I inexplicably lose every day while somehow still not going bald. And then when you’re all done, you have to do the self clean cycle (which is honestly pretty impressive and did actually clean the beater bar nearly completely in one cycle). And then clean out the dirty tank, the filter and dissemble the brush roll to try and wipe out the self cleaning tray if you do it to fidelity. Then I guess sometime tomorrow when everything is dry I’ll put it back together… I can’t see using this with any regularity. The tank is so small and the process to use it because of this plus the clean out process…. I could have used my upright vacuum + shark steam mop with a lot of steam (refilling the tank maybe 2x) in probably half the time. And then just thrown the mop pad in the wash and moved on with my day.

> 3 dayThis thing is pretty powerful. I haven’t had any major cleanups yet, but its really great with our dogs. Between the dog hair and the occasional puppy pad mishap, this machine handles it. Most importantly the self-cleaning function makes me feel comfortable using it again after cleaning up dog urine.

> 3 dayWe have a tiled room that is hone to 2 large dogs that shed a lot. Usually I would start with a brtomn and then vacuum and finish by mopping the entire foot twice. Pretty exhausting for an old guy. One pass with the cross wave hydro steam did a thorough job on the floor. It’s much easier than pushing a mop. Cleanup mode makes clean up much easier. I’m very pleased with the results. I rarely pass out a 5 in reviews but this is a great machine.

Greater than one weekI really wanted to like this dry/wet/steam vacuum. It worked great at first but then the suction stops working so well. I dumped the dirty water and would start again and even with very little water in the dirty water tank it wouldnt pick up water very well. I had to continually go over and over it. That is the main reason Ive sent it back. The second reason is that it doesnt do a great job on tile. If it had a different type of brush maybe it would clean better. The brush is too soft to get up dirt that is down in the tile and grout. This is the second wet/dry/steam vacuum Ive tested. Neither performed well on very dirty tile. They both had the same problem with the brush being too soft to really scrub the tile clean. The first product controlled the water and steam that was dispersed based on how dirty the floor was so I was hopeful with this the steam would be constant and would clean the floor. This one only put out a minimal amount of steam. The same as the other machine at its lowest detection setting. If you have wood floors I wouldnt recommend this due to its suction power being inconsistent.

> 3 dayAfter using this multi-purpose vac for a month heres my honest review. Pros- The vacuum part works great. It does seem to suck up every dog hair and piece of dirt. After using the dirty tank does always have really gross water & crud. So it does seem like its picking up a lot of goop. Cons- The mopping part isnt great. I just dont feel like it cleans the floors as well a standard mop or steam mop does. It also often leaves streaks and you really have to go slow to get the floors clean. I also hate that it forces you to buy their solution which isnt cheap. I had to buy additional brush rollers because you really cant use one brush for the whole house. You also have to wash brush after each use. Along with washing the brushes you have to wash out the dirty tank every use. Its also not the easiest to carry from room to room. It is very loud which doesnt bother me but I could see that being an issue if you have small kids & want to clean while theyre napping. All in all I just dont feel like this vacuum is worth the hefty price. I dont feel like it saves me any time or is any easier than using my standard vacuum to pick up the dirt and then mopping the floors with a good mop & cleaner of your choice. Also hate that now I have to buy not only the recommended cleaner but the cleaner you have to use to clean the brush rollers.

> 3 dayI love the Self Cleaning on this machine!! My previous Crosswave was amazing and worked so well on my hard floors - I saw this updated model and decided to give my original to my daughters and take the new one and I’M SO GLAD I DID! This model has steam cleaning mode as well as a clean cycle which cleans the roller brush (which we all know is the most disgusting part). Mine came with two small bottles of cleaner/sanitizer and a small bottle of clean cycle solution. For cleaning, you empty and clean out the dirty water tank then reattach. Fill the clean water reservoir with hot water to the mark, the pour a small amount of the cleaning solution into the storage tray. Set the machine in place and press the clean cycle button. The initial sound worried me, but then it kicks in and cleans the brush. Once finished you open the top, remove the brush, and set it into its slot to dry. I’m a little concerned what that cleaning will cost over time when I have to purchase the cleaner, but not touching the nasty brush is a plus. Everything else works mostly like my last machine. It vacuums up most dirt (with a struggle on anything larger like many machines these days), but mopping at the same time is so convenient when you’re busy!! The light is bright and helpful, though the light stays on when the machine is plugged in-not just when it’s on. That’s a little annoying for me, but certainly not an issue. Huge fan of this machine!!

> 3 dayI have two young boys, and they seem to leave more food on the floor around the kitchen table than they actually make into their mouths! Sweeping up gets all the big pieces, but I am always left having to get out the mop to clean the dried ketchup, chocolate milk, juice, yogurt, and other messes they leave. I hate mopping, so this means messes usually end up accumulating over time because who has time to sweep and mop every day after dinner? I did one round with this bad boy, and I was slightly disturbed by what came out when I emptied the dirty water tank. The floors actually looked relatively clean beforehand, but there was a ton of unseen dust and grime that got picked up. It is super easy to put together and use, took me less than 5 minutes from opening the box to starting my first clean, and it was surprisingly quiet. Worth every penny to finally be able to throw the mop out!
