> 3 dayI bought this for small cleanups in the kitchen but I have used it for so much more. It is the best small vacuum Ive ever had from the pivoting head to the easy empty cannister. The suction is phenomenal and I couldnt be happier with this purchase. You have to get one, you wont be disappointed.

> 3 daySuper product and best on the market for suction, width of nozzle, battery/charging power, large canister size, etc etc. Has a washable and very durable filter inside. It is a solidly manufactured, heavyweight monster in a good way. Bends in all different directions. Pricey but worth it in a weird way, see below. Im on my third one. But not for the best reason. The bummer: Ive used for one reason only - to suck up cat litter that my cats toes kick out or drop when the exit the box. In doing so, it also sucks up some of my own hair (bathroom). Sometimes used for kitchen floor corners, but rarely - because it is used for the cat litter box area. In each of the three times Ive purchased the same exact model/unit, it has worked PERFECTLY until just one day you get a loud GRINDING sound and a perfectly electrically smoky smell as though something is burning. Cleaned it out, made sure nothing was stuck in it, was very careful...to no avail. Too late to return to Amazon, and Black and Decker basically doesnt exist if you try to get hold of them to execute on the limited warranty. (Limited because no one answers the phone or replies to emails.) So, whatever, I figured it was a one-off. Ordered another. SAME THING. I mean, I only have to use it MAYBE once a day for less than 30 seconds. Another couple years of keeping it clean and taking good care of it and yep, GRINDING & BURNING SMELL. THIRD time around I ordered a different brand and model. Didnt like it; returned...just not comparable. Ordered three others over a few weeks and none compared to the quality of this Black and Decker. None were as expensive as this one either. Flummoxed, I finally gave in and ordered the THIRD one, which Im currently using. I give it a year. Is it worth the cost? Your decision. For ease of use, quality of suction and all of the above, I think Ill end up buying a new one every couple of years. I dont want to do the math but 30 seconds x 365 days x2 divided by whatever I spent on it is, I guess, worth it. What really bums me out is the massive plastic waste - not earth friendly. Nothing sucks up cat litter (or small particles) as this one does, not even a hand broom. So, dont say I didnt tell you. When I ordered a replacement the second time, I saw that some others had the same experience. Yet, others loved it. All I can say is that at this point, I agree with both. Even those who experienced this major flaw say that it is an otherwise excellent, superior, product. Keep the box and receipt, and the box it was mailed to you in, in case it dies on you and you want to return before the Amazon return period ends.

> 3 dayLike so many other reviews said, this B&D vac has plenty of suction. I used it twice since I bought it, once on the floor mats on our two cars and the second time on two sets of stairs and work bench. Lots of dirt and small pieces were picked up. Both times the battery lasted 15-16 minutes. Recharge time is between 3 to 4 hours. It keeps a good suction right up to shutting down. I feel that the run time should be a bit longer considering how long it takes for the battery to charge. But I’m ok with it because the jobs I’ll use it on should take less than 15 minutes. Jut not to plan on several jobs all at once. I may come back in a while with an update on battery life, but my experience with lithium ion batteries says it should have a reasonably long life.

> 3 dayIts lite, easy to handle, easy to store, good size, its powerful ....BUT, its soooo NOISY!!! I bought it to vacuum the steps instead of using my Miele canister v.c. which is heavier. However, the little brush attached to the nozzle in the cordless hand vac doesnt do the job well. I wish there will be a larger brush to attach for this purpose. As a result, I havent used it more than once. Too bad!

Greater than one weekI agree with all the good things people say about the vac., and I have had this vac about a week. It is easy to clean, although debris/ dust collects at rubber flap that has to be finger pulled out. The filter fills up with almost every use and needs to be pulled out and shaken to clean, or can be cleaned with a shop vac, or washed. The enclosed manual states, after its fully charged, you should unplug after 24 hours, which is kind of a pain to remember, plus I store the vac on my floor and have to bend my back to unplug the vac. Otherwise, I really like it, better than my previous weaker hand vac.

> 3 dayIt’s been a while since I bought a small vac, so maybe I missed the revolution, but this thing is so powerful. You get it within an inch of dirt, it’s going in. I was hypnotized staring at the dirt and seeing it fly in from distance. And it’s very easy to use and feels well built. Very glad I spent a little extra versus those at a lower price point. If you need a versatile, powerful small vac, I highly recommend this one.
