> 3 dayThe wife and I got this so we can play Blokus on those days our friends and family arent visiting and we still want to play. It is small enough to be easily transportable too - for games on the road.

> 3 dayLove this game! Ive had the game for about three and a half years. My daughter and I play whenever she is home from college. Finally bought one for her to take back to school to play with her friends. Takes about 30 to 45 minutes to play a game. We especially like that you can play with two, three or four players.

> 3 dayFun strategy game for all ages. The game is only as challenging as the skill level of your opponent... so I choose to play against my daughter.

> 3 dayThis is a great family game of strategy. Kids of many ages will get a lot of fun out of this. It helps them think ahead and see the pieces fit together.

> 3 dayIve been unsure about this game since its inception, but seeing that it continues to win awards, I finally broke down & bought it. Lets get the [obvious] negative out of the way. As I expected, its made of mediocre plastic. Im curious to see how long it takes before something breaks. That said, the pieces do elegantly snap into place. My personal snobbery aside, its a decent game & Im sure the more I play, the more subtle intricacies will unfold. The available shapes limit variety a bit, but this may be a good thing. You can play strictly by the rules given or, as I will be doing, combine those rules with go. By the end of a round, Blokus has a similar aesthetic to a go board & can therefore be scored the same (based on territory). That appeals to me, as I like the aesthetic of go, but find that game horribly confusing. Blokus resolves the confusion with additional confines. I highly recommend Blokus to casual go players & parents looking to play abstract strategy games with their kids.
