I bought this for our traditional christmas eve family game!! It was so much fun. Even my 19yr old son loved this game!!

My kids aged 17-9 all love this game. As an adult who grew up loving Tetris - I love this game too! There are very few rules which means it is easy to play and teach to others. Due to the design of the board I imagine it would be an easy game to play in the car on a road trip too! We will definitely keep an extra game around to gift to others!

Like chess or checkers this game takes a very small set of rules and creates a game whos difficulty is only defined by its players. This is a game almost anyone will want to play and can learn to play in less than 5 minutes.

We love the other blokus but don’t always have more people to play, me and my son play this all the time. It’s something I know when he grows up and looks back he will remember playing this game all the time and laughing together. It also is a short game so great for kids with short attention spans that don’t like drawn out games. You can finish a game in 10 minutes or less

This review is for the 13x13 product. Reviews for this product and the 10x10 product seem to overlap/be mixed up. I wanted to make sure I bought the larger size format. For anyone else in the same boat, I had success by verifying the size of the item in the description section. The box size neatly correlates to the game board size. If the box is listed as 10x10, a 13x13 game board does not lie within! As other reviewers have noted, this is an excellent game. It was new to me and my 6-yr-old and we both learned it quickly. There are layers and layers of strategy, and it teaches so many skills related to visual/spatial acuity, math, and strategy, all within a really enjoyable game. I definitely recommend it. Its engaging for kids and parents alike in this household.

This is an addictive game that everyone who tries it or watches it played, wants in on the action. Playing only once is never an option! I love it when friends of my college age kids (21+) come over and demand to play it! When I tell their parents, theyre speechless - and want a game for themselves. I *think* each color is supposed to have the same number/set of pieces. We got duplicates of two different pieces (in place of other pieces) and another color doesnt have the same number of pieces as the others. Is this a problem? maybe, but it doesnt stop us from playing with it anyways!
