> 3 dayI tried switching to another hydroxyapatite toothpaste (David’s) and both me and my boyfriends teeth started feeling terribly painful by the end of the tube. Immediately after my first brush returning to Boka, my sensitivity felt significantly better. It’s an incredible product. When I was using it consistently for months, my sensitivity was completely gone and my enamel looked regenerated. I can’t recommend it enough. I just tried the lemon lavender flavor and it’s sooo pleasant

> 3 dayLove the taste also the fact that it can be left in your mouth after brushing and is safe to swallow.

> 3 dayI noticed a difference almost immediately in the way my teeth felt. My back teeth kinda suck and I have periodontitius. I could tell my teeth felt better almost immediately after using it one time. its hard to describe, but the pockets didnt feel as deep. The taste is good and its whitening my teeth. Compared to the Sensodyne I was using, this is way better. I plan to keep using it.

Greater than one weekFor about a year, Boka Ela Mint was always out of stock when it was time to re-up on toothpaste. I ended up getting the ginger flavor, even though I was so-so on it without a basis for comparison. Finally got the Ela Mint, and it is fine, but a little strong. I prefer the Ginger and will order that flavor again when this runs out. I was slightly worried about the erythritol, but that recent study has a shifty methodology. People with those health conditions had elevated levels, but the body produces it and there is no indication that participants consumed it from other sources. I still try to minimize swallowing—it is toothpaste, after all. Edit: The Ela Mint flavor does not contain erythritol. Ginger does, but I stand by my preference.

> 3 dayI never thought I’d be a person with a favorite toothpaste, but I’ve been using this stuff for years now after seeing a TikTok praising nanohydroxyapatite and I will not use another brand. It works great, tastes clean and my teeth always feel better after brushing.

22-04-2025So, the title of my review may seem odd for a toothpaste…but if you have limited manual dexterity due to injury (as I do) or arthritis, things like an easy to grip/twist cap and a softer plastic tube really do make a day to day difference! This was not my reason for buying Boka toothpaste (bought it for the remineralization and interesting flavors [i like Tom’s of Maine’s fennel toothpaste]), but I am really chuffed that the design of the tube has made my life easier. I used Hello Sensitivity before, and that cap was a nightmare - too hard to flip open, even for my husband. The Boka tube is more flexible, too, making it easier to squeeze out the last few blops of paste. Regarding flavor, I’ve only tried Lemon Lavender so far…it’s interesting, and tasty, but not “refreshing” if mint is more your style. It kind of reminds me of less-sweet cupcake frosting. Looking forward to trying Coco Ginger next. Overall, leaves my teeth feeling really clean.

> 3 dayOut of the blue last year, I developed an allergy to fluoride that sent me on a hunt for flouride-free toothpaste. I found Boka and really loved the scientific evidence of hydroxyapatite for cavity prevention as well as the fact that this brand didn’t use any artificial flavors or colors in their product. This is my 2nd time purchasing Boka toothpaste. My first purchase was the Ela Mint, which I give a 5/5. Unfortunately, the Coco Ginger flavor is really lacking in sudsing action compared to the mint. As far as whitening goes, I haven’t really noticed any changes, though that’s not something I’m really interested in nor pay attention to, as my teeth look fine IMO. It still does the job of cleaning my teeth and making my breath feel fresh, but I prefer Ela Mint.
