I wanted a smaller 2-hole punch to keep receipts better organized in manilla folders at home. This, along with the box of prongs, worked fine and serves that purpose well. I would have bought something more substantial, though, if I had a need for more heavy use such as in an business environment.

Ours came with a paper guide that did not fit. It completely slid out - no tension at all

A nice hole punch, it takes up much less space on my desk than the big traditional ones we have around the office. It makes crisp, clean holes that are slightly larger than my old punch. Punching through 20 pages doesnt take any more strength than my old punch. There are only 2 things I would change about it: 1) the arm is flimsy plastic and is easily bumped out of place and 2) This may be user error, but I had a hard time lining the top of my paper up with the guide, resulting in many uneven holes until I got the hang of it.

I always expect when I get a hole puncher to be able to fill it up to the brim with paper and punch through all the papers effortlessly. Naturally, just like with every other hole puncher Ive tried, that didnt happen with this hole puncher. I always wonder why they dont make the space smaller so you cant fit too many papers in there. The open space misleads me. Other than that, this is still a great hole puncher. Way better than the one I was using before. It doesnt stick, and it takes up very little desk space.

The small base doesn’t give much to press down on

Bostitch Office EZ Squeeze is an attractive two hole punch that will look good on a desk. It definitely is easy to punch through a stack of papers with very little effort. It has a nice weight to it, so it shouldnt slide around very much. Its mostly made of metal, a rare occurance nowadays. Being able to lock the handle down is a very nice feature, it could prevent someone from accidentally hitting it and knocking the punch to the floor. There is a small pin that you slide to the left to lock the handle down while you depress the handle or slide to the right at you depress the handle, a very useful feature. There are two small, round rubber feet at the rear that probably wont grip very well, from the looks and feel of them. Unfortunately, it has several negative features. 1. There are no instructions with it, so hopefully, my review will help those who arent at least a little mechanically inclined. 2. The slide for adjusting the paper widths (8.5 and 11 inches) isnt very sturdy and can be pulled completely out with the possiblity of losing the adjustment slide. If the punch falls to the floor with the adjustment slide out, the slide could be broken. There are two detents as you pull the slide out, one for 8.5 inches and one for 11 inches, just pull the slide out until you feel the detent for the size paper you are punching. 3. The chip tray locks on the body very nicely and it a bit difficult to open if you have weak or arthritic hands. The chip tray has a plastic hinge that probably wouldnt last long if the tray is emptied often. I dont know if the tray will stay attached once the hinge breaks, after one use I can see stress marks in the hinge. Just be careful to only lower the chip tray a little to dump the chips so you dont put added stress on the plastic hinge. The two hole punch does the job but I still have the above concerns and dont find it to be as rugged as older Bostitch products that Ive owned or used.

This little two-hole punch is easy to use. It is designed so that it takes less force that usual to punch holes. This is important if you have small hands. The punch gives you a good, solid feeling when you use it. However, as other reviewers have noted, the pull out paper guide leaves something to be desired. You need to be careful with the guide so that you do not break it. I have dealt with this little flaw by not using the guide. So far, the cutting mechanism has remained nice and sharp, cutting clean holes and collecting the little paper circles in a receptacle for later disposal. The top handle locks down so that you can store it more easily.

If you have any two-hole punch needs, this is a good one. It cleanly punches holes in up to 20 pieces of paper without tearing or jamming, and needs very little pressure to chomp through the paper. The little reservoir underneath captures the paper circles, and the unit is attractive enough to sit on your desk. It also folds down and locks if you prefer to keep it in a drawer. Im giving it four stars for being a good two-hole punch, and the following comment did not affect my rating of the product. I would like to note that its not as useful if you have kids in school using binders and loose-leaf paper, or if you use file folders that accept 3-holed documents. I did manage to place a piece of loose leaf paper over the papers I wanted to punch, and lined it all up so I could punch the third hole (using the loose leaf hole as a guide/target) but thats a lot of work for daily use.
