> 3 dayThe printer is good for what I need but it has a couple small issues. The display screen will not open all the way. Additionally, the paper feed is intermittent and registers no paper when there is actually paper. All and all for the price, it will suit my needs fine. I have experience with Canon printers so I can trouble shoot these issues when they arise.

> 3 dayCannot believe Cannons dirty little secret - you cant scan if you are out of ink. What a cheap scam from Cannon, a respectable company would resort to holding your scanner hostage if you dont buy their exorbitantly priced ink. Worthless.

Greater than one weekI just had it for like 1 month and likes it a lot. Its easy to set up and use. I scan important document often and the scan quality is good. As for printing, the quality is good for a non-laser printer. Cons: 1. May be not very ink-efficent. I just used it for like a month and the user interface on the machine told me theres only half left for my black ink. 2. Doesnt come with a usb cable. I dont know if this is true for all printers in US. In my home country I bought a printer and it comes with usb cable by default.

Happy customer
Greater than one weekI like my printer very much. The quality of print is great and color is excellent. It does a good job on envelopes including feeding multiple envelopes. It does seem to use a lot of ink, but I guess thats the price you pay for the quality printing.

19-12-2024After my wife went through two HP All-in-One printers, I turned to the Canon MP480. We are glad I did. The unit seems to be much better made and is certainly more durable. The ease of use and print quality has a wow factor and Canon is known for the quality of its photos. If you have stuck with HP over the years like me, this Canon is worth considering.

> 3 dayI bought this printer/copier/scanner a little over a year ago. Right away we had big problems with color. Our old printer had no problem turning what you saw on the screen into what was printed. This one cannot do that. No matter how we adjusted our print settings it would not give us correct coloration. Some colors looked nothing like their original. The next problem was the scanner. After about 6 months, it stopped working. Again we tried fixing the problem to no avail. It does an okay job of coping black and white. Thats it. This is the first Canon printer we have owned and it will be the last. Oh yeah, the front panel also fell off, too.

Greater than one weekReceived the printer on time. Set up was easy and compatable with Windows Vista. The printer itself is slow starting on B&W & color copies.Scanning a item or picture is a little more challenging. The software could be more computer friendly for seniors. Overall very happy with printer and Amazon. Will continue to shop regularly....

> 3 dayIts easy to use. Gives great color for documents and photos. More than adequate for home use. Ink use is OK but Ive had other models that use less ink with just as good color.,

17-12-2024For the money, this is a dandy home printer for the non demanding. It gets the job done. Ive tried printing 8x10 pictures, and I saw about what I expected. If I want higher quality pictures printed, I need to spend more money, end of story there. But for basics, its just fine. Use the larger cartridges though. It is a tad thirsty, but not unreasonably so. UPDATE 10-02-2012: This printer/scanner still works flawlessly. Its a little slow but, it has NEVER let me down.
