> 24 hourIm disappointed! After reading many reviews and all the technical specifications, I did not foresee this difficulty. Today I purchased this machine to install on my Macintosh, operating system OS X.4, which all the specs say is compatible, but the installation CD states that it will work only with operating system OS X.5. So now what? Back to the store I go, I guess. False advertising Id call it.

> 24 hourI bought this printer in 2009 before college, and boy did I love it! I still do love it, and I plan to take it with me to grad school. I am sure in the past 5 years of use, this printer did stutter and jam several times... but for the most part, my impression of my printer is a positive one. I got this for less than $100, so I think I got this for a bargain. I guess the price went up. This printer is not the fastest, but it got the job done. You have to manually manipulate the papers and printing settings to get double-sided printing (which I made mistakes with several times). The printing quality was very much sufficient for essays and lecture notes with images. I am too cheap to use expensive ink to print photos with this, but I am sure people liked it for its intended purpose. It is loud when it prints, so if you live in a 3-person, tiny dorm room like I did freshman year, late-night printing would be a bit rude. Love this printer, and i hope I can keep using it!

> 24 hourThe Canon ip2600 is slow and the prints are quite mediocre, but its cheap, so what? Well, next time I would spend a few more dollars and have a much better machine. Dont believe the

> 24 hourWaste of time & money. I got this printer because I just needed a home printer to print out maybe 10-15 pages a MONTH. Not a lot. The cartridges that came with it didnt last long, but I expected this as the ones they include are usually smaller capacity. Since the replacements were almost as expensive as the printer, I refilled the cartridges, and they worked fine. About 2 weeks later, I went to print again, and the printer said both carts were of ink... they werent. Apparently, the cartridges have a chip on them that tells the printer they are out of ink, regardless of how full they actually are, making it unable to print. Another way to make sure you spend dollar after dollar on refills from Canon. I used to like Canon... I always thought their prints looked better than HP or Epson. But this move just smacks of greed.

> 24 hourWe are very pleased with our Canon photo printer. We printed photos off of the computer the first day we had it and they came out very clear and the colors were perfect. I will use this item for all my picture printing from my camera from now on. It will save me a lot of money since I have been printing pictures at WalMart for 28cents each. Glad we ordered the Canon machine and recommend it to others. Thank you.

> 24 hourI purchased this printer and it stopped working after three months. Great timing since my warranty expired after a month or so. I took it to a repair shop and found it could not even be fixed because the AC adapter unit inside was faulty. I ended up throwing away a $50 printer, time, and money. Amazon was no help due to the warranty expiration. Research more carefully and youll be happier.

> 24 hourPrint quality is decent, but relatively slow and loud. My complaint is the feed mechanism. It sucks. It started by giving errors for no paper with a full paper tray, then started feeding paper crooked. If I want to print a page, itll take 10-12 tries to eventually get it right. Just terrible. Buy something else. Wish I had.

> 24 hourI like the printer so far - havent done much with it except print text, so I dont know how it does with pictures. Ive had it for about a month and the black ink jet ran out, but I have printed quite a bit with it so far.
