> 24 hourI like this paper, however there are a few things I do to make it work. It will bend up when wet so after drying I press to flatten between adding layers.

> 24 hourThe colors do NOT fade. Here is a comparison and biased against Canson since the Fluid paper is hot press and 100% cotton. I used Schminke Horadam pan paints. I do have three Kremer colors (also pans) and one of the Indigo swatches is Holbein (tube). From the fading and piling complaints of other reviewers, it sounds as if the sizing was missing and they got a bad batch. I would check who the seller was for those reviews. I havent done large washes with it, so I cant attest to buckling. I usually cut down and use it for small studies and for color testing and swatch mixes. For the price level of this paper it is excellent.

> 24 hourMy 9 year old loves everything about drawing and painting, she goes through sketch pads like crazy. Purchased this one for her painting set and love the bigger rectangular size. When it arrived the spine to the cover had seperated from the paper, so I took some E6000 glue (it’s literally my solution for everything) and placed a little bit along the spine and secured it til it dried thoroughly, PERFECT. So this is just an fyi for anyone that may have the same issue.

> 24 hourI am artist who has always had a disdain for watercolor art.... until NOW! I finally forced myself to confront the medium Ive so LONG dreaded and despised... initially as a challenge to my proud and competitive self, lol, but I have realized that so much more than idyllic lake scenes with mild flora and fauna can be rendered with vibrance, energy, and even abstraction in watercolor! Now that Im jumping into the water...color... its exciting and this paper is surely helping along with my success! I am not a formally trained watercolorist, so Im learning as I go, but as long as I use my Frog Painters Tape underneath the paper to bind to my masonite clipboards, with the four sides taped on the outer edge, I have no warped and curled up paintings. After several days of being allowed to dry with the Frog tape left on, the paper comes up from the board flat and beautiful. Its so thick, and the size is ideal for me. A few times, Ive used my bonefolder to fold it in half and tear so that I can get two smaller paintings from just one sheet. I also recommend the Canson XL Mixed Media Pads! They are thick and smooth papers that arent as thick as watercolor paper, but way sturdier than typical sketch/drawing paper and are great for printmaking/drawing/acrylic painting, even light watercolor works. Thank you, Canson!!!

> 24 hourGreat low-priced option for beginners and experimenters. However, this pad I received is no good for traveling and storage as the paper was never sealed to the protective cover (see photos) and arrived dented in one corner. Still usable but disappointing.

> 24 hourI bought it on sale and Im happy with it. Im learning how to paint with watercolor and this paper size is huge for me. So I ended up cutting the sheets in half. Im annoyed by how it buckles after my painting dry, but I dont know if its me doing something wrong or if its normal. Im not sure if I would pay the full price for this pad.
