> 3 dayGreat paper to get started with water color. I can see even art students using this experiment/doodle on. Perfect for kids and adults to get started with watercolor, paper holds up to quite a bit of water, doesnt over work too fast, and handles color pretty well. It does warp quite a bit, so tape it down.

> 3 dayThis paper works great for the price. I use it all the time to practice on before starting a painting on something that is 100% cotton and much more expensive. Helps me save my pennies.

Greater than one weekThis watercolor paper is particularly cost-effective, the color is easy to stain, and the paper does not wrinkle, cheap price. I recommend several friends who like painting to buy practice, especially suitable for beginners

> 3 dayMy daughter suddenly started watching some Youtube videos about water color painting and wanted me to buy her this pad. She couldnt wait so I had bought a cheapo pad from Walmart until this arrived. The other pad was certainly not for water colors and the color ran through 6 more pages. She was still happy painting. The colors looked more vibrant on the pad the paper didnt get all soaked over. This is certainly a quality pad. I decided to paint myself and I couldnt believe I could be a painter myself :) Please do mark this review as helpful if you think it has helped you make informed decision about buying this product.

Greater than one weekI got this paper because it was a pretty good price, the right size, and said that it was 140lb paper. It is made of wood pulp, I guess. It just doesnt really absorb water well. It also gives blotchy results. They asked in the survey if it was good for beginners. It depends on what you expect your beginners to learn. My art teacher said you should get the best art supplies you can afford EVEN as a beginner. He said students will progress more rapidly using good paper and brushes because they wont have to always compensate for the shortcomings of their tools. Ill use this paper for scrap and daily practice until I use it up though.

19-12-2024I am super beginner with watercolor so i really have no clue what i am doing lol an i have way over used water an had to blow dry the paper. Neither of which messed up the paper at all. This stuff is awesome but dont plan to keep all your works in the book. The pages come out pretty easily
