I use this paper for a substrate for collage work. It is acid free and works well. I find that modge podge doesnt seem to adhere to it well, so I use UHU glue sticks. It is good to find a stiff, quality paper to use that isnt very expensive. I sometimes embellish with pastel pencils, Caron Dache, watercolor and AKUA inks and guache, all of which it accepts really well.

After a wash of watercolor, I went back to lay down some more paint. I was moving the paint around and started to get paper pulp sticking up. I tried brushing it away which made it much worse. I cannot recommend it even for a beginner. Hours wasted.

It’s paper. Nice and thick for water color. I’m using it for pastels, it works for now.

My wife is an artist and needed some new watercolor paper that wouldnt break the bank. This pad is the best bang for the buck I could find at this size. Similar high quality pads were almost twice the price and/or included significantly less pages. Were not planning on using them to paint the Mona Lisa, so they were exactly the value and quality we were looking for. I was impressed by the weight of the paper. They shipped packed tightly so there were no issues with bent corners or crimped edges.

I would buy again for this price, but I’d use it for sketching or messing around... it’s not the highest quality you can find out there

My son and I used this for watercolor sessions for art classes. It was sturdy and allowed for blending of the colors easily. Great value, quality paper!

Im really happy with my purchase. The paper is high quality and thick, so that I dont worry about using watered down colors because I know the paper will absorb it. If you try to layer too many colors though, the paper will start to pill up a bit. Not too badly, and since its more user error I didnt ding my rating. I love this stuff and will be buying it again in the future.
