> 3 dayThese pastels are the most fun art tool I have gotten my hands on. I love that you can dip them into water then stroke them over the canvas for a rich watery effect, dry for a rough traditional pastel look, or you can also spray it once it has been laid on the canvas and rework it. I love using them to sketch out my composition then go in with acrylics and they melt into the acrylic creating wonderful shaded edges. Most fun you can have with a crayon! One thing I do find though is they seem to take a bit to get them going. Like they have a coating on them.

> 3 dayThese are wonderful , highly pigmented watercolor crayons. I am painting on cold press Arches paper. If I use the crayon on dry paper and add water , I find that I sometimes have to scrub to dissolve the pigment and it looks grainy. It works beautifully if I apply a wet brush to the crayon or dissolve the crayon on a palette first. It is a very nice selection of highly pigmented paints. In happy with the purchase

> 3 dayTheses are the best type of fancy creamy rich paint crayons. They are NOT like waxy crayolas from childhood. I think it helps to have some art background so you can tell how fantastic they are. I would have bought them much sooner but I always thought they were too expensive. Definitely worth it, now I want the bigger pack. Made in Switzerland, they are safe, non toxic & are used for face painting at fairs etc.

> 3 dayIve had this set for about 8 months. I think of them as a bit of a luxury because they are, after all, crayons, but the watercolor application of them is magical to a novice like myself. I like that they can be sharpened to a point for fine coloring, then wet with a paint brush to use either as watercolor paint itself or directly on the paper turning it to a creamy, richly colored substance that is lovely to use. Someday Ill treat myself to the next bigger size of these high quality crayons.

> 3 dayMy favourite cara d’ache product. So much more than a water colour crayon for paper. I use wet or dry on fabric and paper - possibilities are endless. A very convenient and go-to Art medium for many projects including beyond illustrations. These are top notch in quality.

> 3 dayThis is such a unique item. They look like crayons but when you add a little water they come to life. You can use them with soft pastels but it takes a little experimentation. They are fun to play around with because the colors are so vivid and blend nicely. These pastels are a great quality item at a good price. Shipping was very fast and they come in a nice tin box.
