> 3 dayCaran dAche watercolor crayons are a wonderful, deeply pigmented crayon and just as advertised. Great range of color in this collection.

> 3 dayI love these water color crayons! I use them to add a touch of color to pen and ink drawings. After making a simple sketch with a permanent ink fine point pen, I rub the crayon lightly on sections of my drawing. Then using a watercolor brush, and a little water I blend the color across the drawing. Lovely!

> 3 dayI use these as watercolors and love them. Bought a set from a local art shop more than a decade ago and still loving the exact set, so worth the money. But look for them for sale by your neighbors if youre luck enough to have a local art store.

> 3 dayI bought these for plein air painting & sketching. They worked a treat on a recent San Francisco trip. They are very nicely water soluble, melting and spreading easily without the need to soak the paper. I was a bit concerned about their thinness, but they are quite sturdy so far. If I get more detailed then sketching, I will need more colors than the 15, Im thinking. A variety of blues, greens, and browns would be a welcome addition on my next trip to Dick Blicks open stock bins.
