> 3 dayI bought this because Amazon changed the price and shipping on my usual brand (Kaytee) Has to be changed more often, not great at absorbing the smell or urine. I have 2 small rats and Ive gone from only needing to change their litter once a week to twice a week due to the smell. Probably going back to just buying Kaytee brand at Petsmart even though the price is higher.

Greater than one weekCaused a severe allergic reaction in our home for the two days we had it in the cage. Replaced it with different bedding, threw out what was left, and Im now working with the seller in hopes of getting a refund. I was looking forward to trying carefresh after the great reviews but looks like Im sticking with Kaytee for now.

> 3 dayI normally get carefresh but have the good stuff on subscription. It was time to change my bunnys bedding and the subscription wasnt coming for 5 more days, so I got something that I could get delivered the next day. I thought it would be a safe bet to get the carefresh bedding even though I knew it probably wasnt going to be as good as the normal stuff. This stuff is crap! When I opened the bag, it smelled bad-kind of like vinegar, but I didnt have any other option than to use it. It didnt spread out and fluff up at all. What normally would cover the entire cage only covered half-and this stuff is hard-almost like rocks or large pieces of bark. I definitely wont buy this stuff again and I will have to pay better attention to my supplies so I dont have to buy crap like this again!

> 3 dayDark gray chunks of recycled paper. It was difficult to pull them out of the bag and it produces a ton of lint or dust.

> 3 dayI bought this litter for my pet rabbit and I find its not very absorbent. The litter box is left soaked with pee which is uncomfortable for her. It also doesnt help to mask the odor in the room.

> 3 dayWe have been purchasing Carefresh pet bedding for about 11 years. We have always been satisfied with how clean, low dust, and absorbent the product is. This particular brand of bedding was perfectly suited for our two rabbits. On average, we purchased about two 60 liter packages per month since 2009. Since around March 2020, we began noticing a significant decline in the quality of the Carefresh paper bedding. The bedding is noticeably more dusty, has odor, and is full of what appears to be sand and small rocks (please see the attached pictures). At first, we thought that it was a glitch, but as the time went on it became apparent that each bag of bedding we bought had the same issue. Both of our rabbits have age-related respiratory issues that have been exacerbated by the decline in the bedding quality. This is very unfortunate, especially since we have been loyal customers of your brand for many years. We would hate to have to switch to a different brand, but may need to do so if nothing is done to return to the quality standard that Carefresh has had in the past.

> 3 dayI use this a lot with my bunny. Just the white or plan colored. The brown and white was too hard to tell if it’s wet. It doesn’t keep smells away completely. I heard there’s some now with baking soda added, which i hope not bec not good for rabbits. I buy the white one to go on top of the wood pellets. Great combo.

Greater than one weekThis is my favorite litter for rabbits. I uses a giant litter dish, put down a thick layer of this stuff and then a layer of hay on top. Every day add a little for hay to the top, and it usually stays fresh for over a week or two. I like this litter because it has some weight to it and doesnt fly all over the place when they dig, like other litters do. The price is good as well, especially if you subscribe. I get one unit per month and its plenty for my two rabbits (sharing a pan)
