With faster and faster wifi speeds, cable runs seem to be forgotten about. When you are dealing with a gaming PC or modem to router, cable is a must. This Cat8 is sturdy with the thicker shielding which allows for the faster transmission speeds.

This 50 ft. cable has a good weight to it due to the purity of the copper wires it uses. The connectors and boots are done well. Im sure this cable is going to last for many years to come. It was nice to have some cable clamp/mounts included in case you want use them. Im very pleased with this cable and happy that I got it.

Cat 8? That seems pretty future proof. My entire home is Cat 5 and Cat 6, but a Cat 8 is ready for upgrades and improvements that we havent seen yet. Ill be testing the weather proof features immediately. Ive strung this cable out across the yard, to a WIFI repeater on a pole. And, it is the beginning of spring - there are a lot of storms due in the near future!

This Cat 8 Ethernet Cable is very heavy duty and well made. Its waterproof so it can be used on outside runs. It claims a rating of 40gbps 2000 MHz Speed and has internal shielding. The end plugs are well made and gold plated. The actual cable is round and came with nailing mounting clips. Because this is heavy duty shielded cable it isnt as flexible as standard cat 5/6. This would make a great cable to run between two close locations (i.e. main house and detached garage or outbuilding). Good stuff.

This is probably going to be a pretty short review, because cables are usually a simple product. We have gigabit fiber internet to our house, and none of my devices are currently equipped with NICs that can handle Category 8 speeds. So, while I cannot attest to its prowess at 40 gbps, I CAN say it is an extremely well-built cable that will likely last decades or longer, and regular gigabit is no problem here. A solid heft, thick protection which I have no doubt is impervious to all average household radio interference, and those RJ-45 connectors are incredible! A bonus was the included cable hooks! My wife and I are currently trying to buy a house, and I will definitely make use of those as I wire up our respective home offices. Just an excellent product all-around.

Whether you need a ridiculously long Ethernet cable for permanent use or just something to keep handy for unusual situations when WiFi wont work (warehouse maintenance, anyone?) this cable is perfect. Good data quality, sturdy construction, and all the length youll need. Ive used it many times, and it has never failed me.

This cable is very substantial. So many network cables are pretty thin these days which I personally don’t like. I want something that can take some wear and tear and this does just that. The speed and performance are great and would purchase again.

This is some seriously well made ethernet cable. If youre upgrading to a higher throughput cable, youve come to the right spot, as this is the highest speed cable spec you can at the moment -- Cat 8. I got this MEIPEK cable replace some ancient Cat 5 cable for my home setup as Im planning to upgrade my local LAN to 10 gigabits this year. I do not have that installed yet so I cannot test that level of throughput but can vouch for it handling gigabit just fine. I can also attest to the high build quality, so I feel like youre getting value for money with this brand. The pricing is competitive, so even if you do not have immediate plans for higher than gigabit, why would you go for a lower standard now? The only potential downside to this cable would be that it is the standard thick round form factor. Depending on where you plan to install the cable, one of the flat style cables might work better. Im not reducing my rating of 5 stars for that since it is a known feature, and doesnt matter for my installation. There are plenty of competitors in this market, so I cant say that it is better than all the rest, but I can say that I doubt any are better.

This was a perfect upgrade for me! I am almost embarrassed to admit it was replacing a cat 5 configuration. So the upgrade was very noticeable immediately! The cable is longer than I actually need which is great for flexibility when hooking it up or changing it around. The included hangers were easy to use and keep my data cables from being a completely tangled mess! The cable was not wound so tight that it was difficult to unroll and place like Id like which has been a common problem with other cables Ive had lately. I didnt run a speed test but I could definitely tell there was a huge upgrade. The connector ends are made well and are tight in the port but also easy to remove. I tested unplugging/plugging it several times and dont feel it will break at the tab like many cheaper-made cables Ive had in the past.

This was used to run a direct line from my router in the hallway under the carpet and into my office. So far after using for awhile not only are our speeds fast but a visual inspection of the cable under the carpet appears that it is holding up quite well. Its flexible enough too that its not a pain to work with. Id defintely recommend.
