Perfect!

This is what I wanted and its perfect except now I have to buy a newer game (mine is a couple years old) because now it doesnt match the expansion pack haha the drawings/illustrations are different but still the same thing. We get the idea.

For all those naysayers who scoffed at the idea that the isle of Catan would not and could not support more than 4 players, you can go and chill (err, sweat) in the desert with the robber. It was great to be able to have a larger group to be able to enjoy this game. The only downside is that when they rebranded the game as simply Catan the stock art was updated, so if you own the original Settlers of Catan youll notice the aesthetic differences, although the gameplay is still the same.

The set functions as it should, but the tiles dont entirely match the original. The land tiles fit fine, they are just printed a little off center. The real issue lies in the sea tiles, the colors dont match, they dont fit together great, even the numbers are upside down. It may be a counterfeit (albeit a very accurate one), or just a bad printing. My family still enjoys it so not worth returning it over, but still a little disappointed

We are glad to be able to have more than 4 players now. This is a challenging, but fun game once you get the hang of it. It can be easy to learn if your “teacher” explains the concept. But there are so many strategies one can develop, no two games are ever alike. Good entertainment during long winter months and Covid quarantines.

An absolute classic , I love playing this game with my friends and really its game that i could even let my younger nephews play .
