Clearsource Premier RV Water Filter System - Protects Against Contaminants & Bacteria

The original box lasted a few months, but sliding around in the back of the truck took its toll after a season. Also, I learned that it wasnt possible /practical to drain the filter system completely when tearing down camp, and it has leaked about a cup of water soaking the carton.

This is a great filter system and was made of good quality material. The connectors should be reversed but overall this filter is great.

As advertised. The water comes out CLEAN and we get much better water pressure than with our old in-line filter.

We ended up with the faulty connector like other people complained about, BUT...contacted company direct and they called me on a Sunday and shipped new connector AND free filters the next day. Had to wait a few days but the new connector worked great and so far so good. Great customer service for sure!

Great water filter. Top notch. The filtered water coming out of this filter is excellent quality. My only reason for giving it a 4 star rating is that the hose fittings are fixed so you have to twist the hoses on and off of the fittings. The unit is built like a tank. Excellent quality. Like I said though it would have been a bit nicer if the incoming hose fitting was not stationary (non-rotational).

We were struggling with a filter that would supply what we needed. All the others we tried either clogged in 5 minutes or didn’t filter great. Water pressure was actually great with this. We have super iron water and I’ve tried all kinds of micron filters. For some reason this 5 micron works. Used for over a month and finally rinsed it off and reused. Still going strong. As it should. The only ones I’ve had make it this far won’t work like they did after rinsing. Rest assured, you’ll get your money’s worth in this

Built great love the frame have not been able to test hiw well it cleans the water. Like a before and after with a meter. But i do love how solid it is i was able to attach some metal items with out wory.

Easy to install, works great making water taste good. Easy to replace filters.

Before buying this system, I was having to bleach our RV water system every few weeks to get rid of the strong sulfur smell which I believe was a result of iron in the well water reacting with the magnesium anode in our water heater (I dont recommend bleaching because it can be hazardous, but it was the only method Id found to work, and I was getting very frustrated with this water smell that would not go away). Weve been full-timing for a few years and this problem just started at our latest location where we use well water. I emailed Clearsource to explain my water problems and they replied within minutes and gave two recommendations for me to choose from. They offered to customize my order to place an iron/Rust Inhibiting Filter on the inlet side and Coconut Shell Carbon Filter in the outlet side (the other option was a three-chamber system which was bigger than I wanted to use).

Two rating of relevance. The first is water quality. Yes this really is the water filter you want, and if you get the cheaper one you will keep second guessing yourself if you would be happier with this one (and you probably will be happier with this filter).
