Clearsource Premier RV Water Filter System - Protects Against Contaminants & Bacteria

I have yet to use this item I bought it in early July for our annual 3 month journey out West. Today I finally opened it up and put into storage spot on the rv. I noticed the filter canisters were loose in the mount, I tried tightening the screws there were 6 of 8 screws stripped and would not tighten. I had enough next larger size screws to secure the filters. Leaving next week then Ill check how good the water is after being filtered.

Easy to setup and replace filter cartridges. After using a few months this filtration system works great.

This filter system still working great. We are staying in a Rv park in southern Georgia where we’ll water has a strong sulfur taste and smell. This filter pretty much removed 95%. Water taste much better and very little smell. I would recommend it. Also, very good water flow.

Much better than the hose cartidges I used to use for my travel trailer. Water is clear and tasteless when this filter is used. Note the product is heavy and it is necessary to tip it on its side to drain the water before transporting or storing.

This produces nice clear water at an amazing flow rate for my RV.

The original box lasted a few months, but sliding around in the back of the truck took its toll after a season. Also, I learned that it wasnt possible /practical to drain the filter system completely when tearing down camp, and it has leaked about a cup of water soaking the carton.

I purchased the tan color version of this filter system from Amazon for full time use with a fifth wheel trailer. It performs as expected in that it seems to filter all of the desert water grit that our single stage filter couldn’t handle. Prior to installing the Clearsoure system, our “filtered” water was cloudy and tasted horrible. The taste with Clearsource filters is now acceptable enough to drink water at the tap and we no longer need to purchase water packaged in plastic. The Clearsource filtered water IS perfectly clear.
