Clearsource Premier RV Water Filter System - Protects Against Contaminants & Bacteria

We moved into our RV full-time, so we needed a more robust water filtration system. After a lot of research, we decided on this Clearsource model and couldnt be more pleased with it! The water tastes amazing, and even our shower water is greatly improved. Since we keep the unit outside our rig, we placed it in a clear storage container to keep it clean. Drilled a hole in each side and ordered hoses and grommets from Amazon to complete the project. If youre looking for an outstanding water filter, this is definitely the one!

I installed this on well water for my RV and it was super easy. I did use some plumbers tape and bought a couple short extra water hoses to complete the project. (I linked this to a portable water softener before the water enters my RV). The directions were clear and it took longer to unpack from the fantastic shipping materials than it did to install and get it going. Great product! Water is already running more clear and Im hoping it saves on frequent regeneration of my portable water softener from all the sludge that is in the well water at this rural campground.

Very sturdy product

We always used the cheaper Camco outside filter with a PUR pitcher for our drinking water. This filter cleans all of the incoming water so showers are better, cat is drinking cleaner water, and my wife loves the fact that she can get drinking water out of the sink at room temperature. I can see this lasting for many years with how they built it. Very impressed.

The output threads leaked and I found out the threads were not out cleaned after they were cut in (cuttings were left in the threads). Once I cleaned them out the leak was fixed. Otherwise the filter system worked great....

The Clearsource Premium RV water filter is well worth the investment. The all-metal frame provides protection for the dual-filter system. And the water quality is EXCELLENT. We used this for 2 months during a recent trip and drew all of our drinking and clean water from this system. There is no detectable taste and no matter where we were, we were confident that the all nasty stuff was filtered out. Even better, after 2 months, when a defect in the metal frame caused the crossbeam support to come loose, Clearsource promptly sent us a new unit and paid for return shipping. I know the filter is on the more expensive side, but it beats CAMCO hands down, both for quality and customer service. Highly recommend if you are concerned over your water quality (which you should be)!

UPDATE:

I was hesitant to use the water at an RV park. I installed this unit and let it run for a few minutes before hooking it up to my Airstream. The water tasted JUST LIKE WATER! No aftertaste, just plain water. It was so good, I dumped my fresh water holding tank, and filled it up with water from Clearsource Premium RV Water Filter System. We drink, cook and shower with it with no worries.

This produces nice clear water at an amazing flow rate for my RV.
