Its hard to know if these devices were used before I got them, maybe something someone else returned, or if they were just packed poorly. They come in a fairly lightweight glossy-paper-board box, and that box was shipped by Amazon in an unpadded plastic envelope, the consistency of a decent garbage bag. The result is that the retail box was close to destroyed and the 2 devices had been banging around in the envelope. They work fine so far, and since they are plugged into outlets at near ground level, the scratches on them are not that obvious. It is not worth trying to return them, but I find it annoying that I pay for something new, but it looks poor when I get it. They paired almost instantly with my zigbee hub, and the built-in repeater function works well. Adding one between my hub and the front door has helped to make my zigbee lock more reliable.

I’m a HomeSeer user and these modules are extremely dependent and well made. I replaced my Insteon modules with these and what a difference! No signal loss in my 3500 sq. ft. home. The Insteon modules became brittle over time and the cover easy separated from the backplate leaving the backplate still in the ac socket. Time will tell how these modules stand up, but I’m very impressed so far. Highly recommend!

I have been using these plugs for 11 months, and I have not run into any issues. They have been working perfectly with Home Assistant. 1 Plug has been controlling a humidifier with no issues for the 11 months. The other plug is controlling a light, but it has been a short time for that one.

My home is less than 2K sq ft, and most of my devices are Z-Wave. I know some people claim that these can be unstable on a Zigbee network, but they work great for me. I probably only have a dozen or two Zigbee devices though.

Installed and operational within Zigbee Home Automation and Home Assistant. I have integrated the devices with Alexa through Home Assistant and not through some other third party application so I did not rate the Alexa integration.

This plug is abnormally large, and blocks other plugs from being used in some cases. You cant use two in a top/bottom configuration. This is an intentionally bad design.

These smart plugs paired easily. So I was initially happy. But one plug died in less than a month. Won’t switch on even manually.

Ive so far set up 4 of these smart outlets and it took a total of about 4 minutes. Im using these with the Hubitat C7 hub and they instantly pair as a Generic Zigbee Outlet and work perfectly. They are controllable through the Google Assistant via Hubitat (remember you must add new devices in the Hubitat Google Home app). I must say that Im using these pretty close to my hub so I couldnt tell you anything about their ability to work at a far distance, but for the price, these outlets are great.
