> 3 dayTheyre cheap smart plugs. First one just died after 19~20 months of being continuously plugged in and on. Here I am ordering another pair as replacement. They follow ZigBee standards well enough, and serve as repeaters for the network. These stop my cats from burning out the pump motor in their drinking fountain when they splash all the water out.

> 3 dayI have over 50 of these controlling my house, shop, greenhouse, high tunnel and garage. But why did they make the so big that they take up over half of the outlet.

> 3 dayI connected these to SmartThings for some easy automation. I know the specs are posted and they are accurate but I was hoping these were a little more low profile than they actually are. So far, no issues with connectivity nor function. I would recommend these as a cheaper alternative to replacing an outlet and definitely for those that can’t wire a switch or outlet themselves.

Greater than one weekThe two CMARS Smart Plugs were exactly what was needed. I was pleasantly surprised how easily they paired with the Echo Studio I was using. I had expected a little more troubleshooting than I experienced. I use one to power my home entertainment system power strip so I do not need to turn off the light, TV, and system separately. I just use a voice command on my Echo Studio. Edit: One has since broken after owning them for about two months. When it works, its great. But having such a short lifespan is concerning. The one thing still outstanding is longevity. I plan to use one for more active use of on and off than another. In theory they should be last the same amount of time but I will update if the more used one faces issues sooner than later. Edit v2: Both are now non-functioning and useless. I admit that using them in conjunction with an extension cable may have been the issue but there were no warning that I noticed that spoke against it. Be warned they may die early.

> 3 dayI have two of these to turn on and off some non-dimmable light fixtures. One in the bedroom for some colored Christmas lights, the other runs a led sign for my game room. Like others have said, there is an audible click when it turns things on and off. Other have complained about the device coming apart when unplugging it, but I have not had that issue.

Greater than one weekI have this plug set up to integrate with my hue system for one of my lamps — it turns on every single morning just like the other lights on a timer but does not turn off like the other lights. So it does its job like, 60%.

Greater than one weekIntegrated with SmartThings. Works fine. Who cares about the audible click? Come on, it’s a switch.
