Coding for Kids: Learn to Code Javascript - Video Game Design Coding Software - Computer Programming for Kids, Ages 11-18, (PC, Mac, Chromebook Compatible)

I am a front end developer and I was looking for a way to get my 8 year old son to get more interested in programming. This was a great way to get him some hands on practice programming. He was very excited because he uses a lot of gaming applications and wanted to create his own. It was easy enough for him to follow and a wonderful way for us to spend time together! I will be purchasing some more of these for my nieces and nephews for the holidays coming up.

My 8 year old son said MOM GIVE THIS 5 STARS for sure. I was a bit worried to try this for him as it is for 11+, but I was super happy to find that he does just fine with it. My husband helped him with setting up a folder on the desktop to and the initial sign in, but other than that we just let him go through it by himself. He says it is easy to understand instructions and a lot of fun. This generation is total tech savvy and I am thankful there are things out their to teach the kids while they are young and so able to soak it all in.

My 12 year son loved this program. Its easy to navigate and well designed. He didnt need any adult help. I am surprised that this is his first online learning experience and everything was so smooth. People at Simply coding make sure you get enough support (Online chat and web sessions). I highly recommend this product.

I bought this for my nephew who is a very bright kid. I may have just opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for him! There is a huge push in our state for kids to learn how to code/program and I think this is a great product because you get to see the results of your efforts. He is excited about it. I may come back and update my review to let you know that he finished it. I think this is a perfect gift for kids. It introduces them to some very practical skills and perhaps even down a career path.

This is a very bad product. Dont waste your money. It is not kid friendly and I am sure a lot of adults may not be able to follow it.

I purchased this for my 10 year old nephew. After assisting him with the initial set-up, he has manage to navigate the program on his own. It is very engaging and easy to follow along for a beginner as he has no other experience with coding. It does require internet for use, so this is definitely better as a home project or for use in areas with wifi access. He has easily navigated the program lessons, but there is also live chat assistance when needed. All-in-all a good buy with hours of educational entertainment available.

My two older children started using this only Andre weeks ago and they are already learning so much! We have tried teaching them a little about coding through free websites and other resources but this was by far the best! My kids love it and can learn at their own pace. I really recommend purchasing!

I got this for my nephew because he was dying to try out coding for robotics, this is a great entry level coding for him and I’m enjoying the games he’s creating he says I really informative and I agree, it’s really kid friendly

I bought this coding program for my two sons, who were 16 and 12 at the time. They said they really liked it and was easy to follow. This gave them a good foundation in coding.
