Doesnt work. Support non existant. When following the instructions my sone only got the error image for the first project. He put in the code properly and yes I have coding experience to check. It didnt work we went to send an email to support and it gave an error mssage. Thanks for ruining my sons christmas and mine.

My 12 year son loved this program. Its easy to navigate and well designed. He didnt need any adult help. I am surprised that this is his first online learning experience and everything was so smooth. People at Simply coding make sure you get enough support (Online chat and web sessions). I highly recommend this product.

I was hoping this would be a little more engaging. As an adult, I’m enjoying it, but I can’t imagine many kids being able to stay too interested in it. That said, it’s been great for me and I’m enjoying learning how to code!

My 8 year old son said MOM GIVE THIS 5 STARS for sure. I was a bit worried to try this for him as it is for 11+, but I was super happy to find that he does just fine with it. My husband helped him with setting up a folder on the desktop to and the initial sign in, but other than that we just let him go through it by himself. He says it is easy to understand instructions and a lot of fun. This generation is total tech savvy and I am thankful there are things out their to teach the kids while they are young and so able to soak it all in.

I got this as an early Christmas gift for my daughters, they had expressed an interest in wanting to code. There are a few free coding “games” out there but they are very rudimentary and teach the idea of coding rather than the actual process and use of codes.

My son has been doing Scratch and other computer programing courses online. However, this has been a step up since he has actually learned to grab and open files to implement the Pong game. He felt so accomplished when the Pong ball moved and he was able to say that I did that! And that was just lesson 1, he has lot more to go through but he is enjoying it.

Got this for my 9 yr old son who is completely obsessed with games and computers. He plays several games and his dream is to ome day be a computer programmer and game developer. My older son who is 18 yrs old is currently in college for computer programming. They have sat down for numerous hours straight working on this together. I love it. I dont understand much about it but I see their happy faces and know its a great product. Definitely recommend it just based on their happiness.

My son and I have been working together through the lessons. In a short time, his grasp of coding concepts has vastly improved. We finished the Pong game and immediately set to tinkering, changing the graphics, sounds, etc in order to make it his own. In doing so, we both developed a better understanding of the code. We have finished the fish game, which before it was even done, had been changed into a scuba diving game including a graphic of my son as the diver! Every night he asks if we can do more coding. We have tried other courses, usually they end up being subscriptions to online forums. This is a complete course with individual lessons, excellent customer support and service and Seth, the owner, is as nice as they come. Highly recommended!

Yet another excellent product by Simply Coding. In less than 4 hours my son coded a pong game, renamed it and changed some of it to make it his game. I even received an email from Simply Coding informing me of my sons success. He is having so much fun with this program, I cant wait to see whats next! There are 2 more games he will learn to code with the help of this program and we are so excited to see them. Thank you for a wonderful way for my son to expand his learning.

Perfect for my 8 year old nerd in training. He loves gaming, building things and being creative. This is definitely something he can do and I don’t have to feel guilty about allowing it. Not only can he expand his computer knowledge, but he can learn to create the games he enjoys playing. It’s easy enough for him to use on his own without my help (as if I could really offer any anyways)
