Ive had this vacuum for over a year and have been very happy with it for quick clean up. The battery life allows me to vacuum almost my 2400 square foot house. I do have to empty the canister several times as I have a dog and two cats that shed alot. I have all hardwood floors but a few floor rugs that you can switch to high volume, and it does well. The battery has to work harder when using the high volume, so it doesnt last as long but still does a good job. Charges fast. The customer service was great. The roller and suction part quit working (only on the stick part, the handheld worked fine) so I contacted support to see if that part could be replaced. The answered my call first time, took all my information and was told the problem would be sent to their service department. The next week, they returned my call and said they would be sending out a new unit. This was even a few months after their one-year warranty had expired. I received a whole new unit a week later. I am extremely impressed with their service and happy with the vacuum.

** UPDATE ** 7-5-21 Originally I had ranked this vacuum as 5 stars. Now it is down to 3. If you dont mind paying $99 for a vacuum that only lasts 2 years, then maybe this vacuum is for you. Personally I find that unacceptable; Ive had vacuums that lasted 20 years. Both the light and the brush roller on the Roomie Tec are nonfunctioning. Ive had the vacuum for 16 months and given it meticulous care, cleaning it out after every use, putting it carefully back together. I treated this vacuum with TLC because I loved it so much. But now it is virtually useless. The manufacturer said since its past the two-year warranty period my only option is to pay (yes, I would have to pay) to ship it 2000 miles away so they can take a look at it. No, thanks. I will give the customer service department credit for being responsive to my phone call and trying hard over email to diagnose the problem. But in the end Im left with a $99 contribution to the landfill, which is hugely disappointing. ** UPDATE ** 7-1-21 After a little 16 months of use, the brush roller is completely nonfunctioning and the light on the vacuum is starting to go bad. Sometimes the light doesnt go on at all. Other times it flickers on and off while I use the vacuum. I contacted the manufacturer a week ago but have not heard back from them yet. I have removed a star from my review. If the manufacturer rectifies the problem to my satisfaction, I will return the star. Contacting them again today. This vacuum is da bomb! Seriously. Goodbye bagged vacuum; you’ve been replaced. The Roomie is lightweight, easy to store, easy to maneuver, and most importantly - it cleans! This is my first cordless and my first bagless. Oh, how I love the ease of vacuuming without a cord. And bagless means all the gunk that gets sucked up goes immediately into the garbage where it belongs instead of being stored in a nasty, dirty bag for months on end. Assuming the Roomie stands the test of time, he’s a keeper! I’ll try to remember to update in a few months.

It cleans well and is so handy! My complaint is it wont latch most of the time when I put it back together after emptying it. Also, its hard to empty and clean. BUT it does a good job vacuuming! The suction is very good. The convenience of not having a cord is great!

You might get a year out of it before the light stops working, and the roller stops turning then it’s rendered totally useless. Evidently the power connection in there somewhere fails.

This thing rocks! I was looking into a refurb or used Dyson V6, but I wanted something even smaller and lighter. We currently use a corded Shark which we love, but its just massive and heavy - its good for deep clean. We wanted something that we could use in place of a broom after our 1 and 3 y/o kiddos finished meals and snacks (crumbs everywhere!!!) That said, this is perfect. Its so freakin light, and the suction on it is totally fine for hardwood and basic carpet (dont expect a deep clean with carpets, but itll definitely pick up crumbs). Id say the biggest size object it can pickup is Goldfish snacks or cheerios - anything larger it doesnt like. I also really love that its got the detachable dust buster feature - I actually use it a lot more than I thought I would - its great for stovetop crumbs, child-seats, cars, corners, nooks, etc. Filter is reusable and washable - so no need to rely on future filter purchases, which was another important part of this for me. It doesnt have hepa filtering or anything, but again, I only wanted this for basic cumbs and cleanup. Theres some kind of tube/vortex filter design (different than other simple vacuum filter chambers Ive seen), and I think it does seem to really improve suction. Finally, the charging station is great - its nice just to place it on the charging station without needing to plug in or bend over every-time. I cant speak for longevity - Ive only had it a few days now. The company seems really responsive to extended warranty request (you can extend it from 1 year to 2 year warranty by contacting them via social media), and they have their own 90 day return period (outside of Amazons 30 day). My only concern is the built-in battery - I hope the battery lasts more than 2 years - all batteries have a lifespan, so I dont expect it to last for too long - its just too bad its not a user-replaceable battery. Im confident I can open up the body and find a standard size 2200mah 18V battery for replacement if this does happen.

I bought this vacuum for where I work and loved it so much I got one for myself! It does fill quickly, but it works really well. The battery life is great compared to other cordless vacuums, and the handle folds down making it easier to store. I like you can pop out the main part to use as a hand vacuum. Overall a great product and I would strongly recommend!

I love this little sweeper. I just moved into an apartment that has vinyl plank flooring in all rooms except carpet in the bedrooms. This little gem works great on both surfaces with no problem. And the hand-held pops right out in an instant whenever you have a small area to get to. I have been looking for one like this for a long time!! It even has lights that are bright and help a lot and I didnt even think that was possible for a small stick vacuum. I am so happy with my gem and I will show it to everyone!

Love this cordless vacuum . Work great for hardwood , tile floors and low carpet areas. It pick up pretty good and the charge last. I was able to do living area, kitchen , both hallways and both bedroom and probably the master if it needed. I still had plenty of charge left. This is an easy quick way to keep your floors clean without hassle of a cord and a heavy vacuum. I also love that it stand by itself if you have to stop in the middle. Another plus I like is the two speed for more power and the attachment 2 in 1 . All that and it has led light which help you see spots you may have missed and fine pet hair. On top of all that its quiet compare to others. Definitely recommend this for quick & easy clean up . We have a small pet and it get the job done. Oh also love the swivel base!

I bought this because my Eufys battery was starting to slowly die, and they have discontinued it. I like it, it does an OK job on the carpets, and better on the wood floors, but the thing that is a problem for me, is that because of the way the suction area is designed, in a curve, the cyclone filter, if you are vacuuming up something like leaves, they get caught and you have to clean them out right away, or it stops picking up anything else. I have a number of plants that have to come in during the winter, and they drop A LOT of leaves in the process of acclimating to being indoors, so this is a pain. I also have two small very hairy long haired dogs, and the same thing will happen with their fur. I think if they redesigned it to have a straight suction area, it would help a lot. The other thing that could be improved is the brush on the main head. My Eufy picks up so much more hair, human and dog, I have to clean the roller after every use. The Roomie does not seem to do as good a job. I do like the fact that the battery can be replaced, and I can vacuum for a good 30 minutes or more. It is very easy to take apart and clean. I think a redesign on the suction area could, quite possibly, make it as good as the Eufy.
