I bought this because my Eufys battery was starting to slowly die, and they have discontinued it. I like it, it does an OK job on the carpets, and better on the wood floors, but the thing that is a problem for me, is that because of the way the suction area is designed, in a curve, the cyclone filter, if you are vacuuming up something like leaves, they get caught and you have to clean them out right away, or it stops picking up anything else. I have a number of plants that have to come in during the winter, and they drop A LOT of leaves in the process of acclimating to being indoors, so this is a pain. I also have two small very hairy long haired dogs, and the same thing will happen with their fur. I think if they redesigned it to have a straight suction area, it would help a lot. The other thing that could be improved is the brush on the main head. My Eufy picks up so much more hair, human and dog, I have to clean the roller after every use. The Roomie does not seem to do as good a job. I do like the fact that the battery can be replaced, and I can vacuum for a good 30 minutes or more. It is very easy to take apart and clean. I think a redesign on the suction area could, quite possibly, make it as good as the Eufy.

I like to have a stick-type vacuum for the kitchen and quick cleaning of the hardwood floor in the family room. I have purchased Bis**ll in the past and like them very much. But they have chosen to save money by changing out the sit-on base charger for a plug-in charger. I saw this little stick vacuum and decided to try it. I am disappointed that it does not pick up even the smallest particles. It will draw the particles in and then spit them back out. Sometimes it doesnt even pick the particles up, just pushes them around on the floor. This vacuum is probably okay for pet hair or dust bunnies but not small particles that come in on the bottom of my husbands shoes or particles under the kitchen table after meals. The containment bin is odd. It has a small directional plastic part in front of the sucking mechanism. Once that gets full (clogged) the vacuum picks up even less. I tired removing that part and using the vacuum without it. The vacuum then had an odd whistle sound to the motor. The washable filter gets very packed with dust, dust bunnies, hair, etc., and you literally have to pick it clean with your fingers. Not sure I would wash this filter (foam piece) in my sink and let all that go down the drain. And if you dont seat the pieces in just right, the hand-held pieces will not go back together right. Pros: 1. It is very quite. 2. The light on the vacuum head to see is nice, especially on dark hardwood floors 3. Very light weight and easy to maneuver 4. Has a sit-on base charger Cons: 1. Not quite sure why it needs two speeds - does not pick up very well even on high speed. 2. Just about everything else about this little vacuum. Not sure I can return it as I have used it 3 times but still within the return window. I do not like this vacuum and I cannot recommend the purchase of this vacuum.

I ordered this vacuum after researching a plethora of choices on Amazon, got overwhelmed, and decided to go with the one that had the best customer service. Im glad I did. Luckily, everything functioned properly when I received it. Set-up was super intuitive. Give it 4-5 hours to charge before the first use. The light flashes when it is charging, and then it turns off automatically when its done. Very small footprint, with the vacuum upright in its charger it takes up less space than my 10 gallon tall trash can. The suction for this vacuum is exactly what I needed. I wouldnt recommend this for any high-pile carpeting, as I met a moderate amount of resistance just with my lower profile rug on eco-mode. It did pick up a lot of dog fur though with my newer two month old rug. I have a one bedroom apartment with laminate flooring with rugs and this works perfectly. One whole charge was enough for my whole place, even with the turbo-mode activated to vacuum the couch. It picked up all the dogs hair/fur no problem. Actually, just after the first use I emptied the canister and to my surprise there was A LOT of fur that I didnt catch from just sweeping (ew, gross). It also was able to vacuum small chunks of dirt tracked in from muddy shoes; coffee grounds that I dropped, and fur and small pieces of debris tracked in by the dog. I swear Im a clean person otherwise hahah. For the price point of $100, this vacuum is a winner. Its cordless, it holds a charge for at least 20min which is also perfect for taking down to the garage to vacuum the car...it gets the job done. If you have a bigger house that has plusher carpet, I would spend a bit more money to get a more sturdy unit. Otherwise this is perfect for a small space with hard surfaces. I imagine this would be great for picking up kitty litter too if you have cats.

Love this vac so far! Its got a nice sturdy feel and cleans great! Just got it so not sure about longevity. I just saw the cost of the replacement filters and you have to pay shipping on them even if you are a prime member. Got them on Walmart instead, same price with FREE shipping

I purchased this Roomie Tec Vaccum Dec. 5th after 3-4 months from having my other cordless. I tell my husband this vacuum is to good to be true. I absolutely love it! Now, I am vertically challenged and just know I am a big klutz. I used to say two vacuums ago that it wanted me dead. I would trip over the cord every day. So yes, I have to vacuum daily and most days multiple times. I have a energetic 2 yrs old English Cream Golden Retriever puppy. Who sheds PROFUSELY! My fingers crossed that this cordless lasts longer. *Side note* I have a issue with static (No fault of the vacuum). When I go from carpet to hardwood a lot of dog hair clings to the hardwood around the edge of the carpet. No matter how many times I go over it, the vacuum will not pick it up. For some reason it only happens in the winter. Ive tried scotch guard and NO. Im thinking about stuffing a laundry sheet in it. All in all this vacuum is great! The battery has never died out before I was finished and its easy to clean. Replacement filters are easy to find and affordable. No, I am not getting anything for writing a great review. I just love this convenient vacuum. It makes my life easier.

I loved this vacuum when I first got it in the mail and then realized it wasn’t picking up any dirt, I then received a replacement and that worked fine for a few uses and then again even after cleaning, it stopped working again. I asked for help via the service line and still nothing so I am now looking for another vacuum after paying $100 for this one.

Okay, so I have never owned a cordless vacuum that did different types of flooring before, so this thing is amazing to me. I finally through out my old family Kirby I got from my parents when I moved out and is at least 30 years old. This is a decent price so I ordered it, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I have many pets and i foster, so I pretty much has dirty floors all the time because it wasnt worth it to haul out the big ol Kirby. I cant tell you if this model is better than competitors, Its the first one Ive owned, but it is great for every day quick cleaning! I go over my rugs, then my tile, to the hardwood, to thick carpet no problem! It struggles a bit on the very textured rugs but thats okay. It has LIGHTS on the front so Ive literally gotten up at 2am for water and seen some cat fur balls and just went to town chasing hairs and cat litter particles all over the house with this little guy. And then it has the baby hand vacuum you pop out and can zip into uneven areas or in your car! I actually clean my baseboards now! The only downside is that its a small canister for dirt so you have to empty it often, and it probably isnt good for deep carpet cleaning or very filthy floors. But I use it for daily maintenance and its amazing!

Our handheld vacuum died recently and I decided to get this 2-in-1 stand up/handheld to replace it. We’ve been using it for a few days and so far I’m very impressed! We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, so this is extremely helpful to keep things clean around the house between our biweekly deep cleans with our full fledged vacuum cleaner. I was surprised/pleased with the auction power and the battery life. If you plan to use this as your only vacuum, I’d suggest seeking other options (you’d have to empty it a lot to do a whole house), but for quick pickups and spot cleaning I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
