17-12-2024Was good for a few days. Product installed fine and was performing quite well until last night. During routine use the computer did a hard boot and would fail to boot, almost as if the power supply was cycling. Disconnected all accessories and booted with just the CPU and Mobo. It would boot, but doing a voltage test would constantly drop below 12V to as low as 10 before Id shut it off....really disappointed. Waiting for an RMA and will install my old 750 to test, but based on reviews, there seem to be some bad PSUs out there.

> 3 dayHowever I would recommend getting different cables. The others it comes with are very stiff.

> 3 dayBought this POS because it was highly recommended and Corsair has a good reputation as a brand for a top of the line PC build (x570 mobo, ryzen 9, etc). The first one died the day after installing it, after my computer went into sleep mode and something must have tripped electronically because it went dead instead. Replaced it, second one seemed to be working fine for a week, then the lights flickered for a minute and the thing completely died again. Both times, it was on a name-brand surge protector and was the only device that had an issue. I had another of these PSUs on hand for a duplicate build, but Im returning it and this DOA one. The 8-year-old Rosewill PSU plugged into an almost decade-old build thats been running 24/7 next to this brand new build 4x the price had no problems through these little flickers, despite being on an off-brand surge protector. One could have been a fluke, but two in a row going completely dead over the tiniest fluctuation in power says its a build problem. Im not rolling the dice with another and letting it fry my motherboard this time.

Greater than one weekI had a disappointing experience with my old EVGA 850 power supply, as it suffered from bothersome coil whine under load, resulting in performance issues while gaming, specifically in Elden Ring with my 3080ti. Seeking a solution, I decided to replace it with the Corsair RMx 1KW power supply. The difference was remarkable.

> 3 dayA pesar de otras opciones más económicas, me incliné a comprarlo por marca, y actualmente ha sido una excelente inversión. Van 9 meses y no ha presentado problemas, al ser modular permite la conectividad de acuerdo a lo que requieres, incluso si a futuro mejoras tu PC.

> 3 dayIve had my Rig running 24/7 with this new PSU since Dec 17th 2020 with no problems! I upgraded the cables that came with it, looks at pics, for the upgraded Corsair cables that cost $99 extra & it was so worth it. I game, web browse & media stream for hours at a time many days of the week. I currently have a GTX 1080 Video Card BUT will soon be upgrading to a RTX 3080. This PSU will be able to provide all the power I need for the devices listed below & in the future for any upgrades, I recommend this product highly. My current specs are the following.
