Everything works fine. Using it as a backup storage. Fast enough for this purpose. However, it is not true 1/2 T capacity. For some reason only 465 G available.

Installed two of these in my 10 year old Sony Vaio 13” laptop. I use it for 24/7 security cameras running Blue Iris software with 6 cameras. Before installing I had constant buffering problems leading to the app freezing and crashing. The speed of this drive not only eliminated the problem, I had to throttle the processor to prevent overheating. The second drive was installed in the optical drive slot using a caddy from Amazon and is used for automatic onboard backups.

Its not so long ago that you couldnt buy a 126GB SSD for this price and the 512GB variant would cost you three times as much. Fitted to my wifes new laptop as the HDD was clearly a bottleneck. The whole machine now purrs along beautifully.

En mi caso, tenía un PC Dell de hace 5-6 años que en su día compre con un procesador I7 pero que me iba muy lento (tardaba muchísimo en arrancar y bastante lento en general). He sustituido los dos discos duros por 2 SSD de tamaños iguales a los que tenía (éste de 2TB como principal y un Sandisk de 530 MB como secundario para copias de seguridad,...) y el rendimiento no tiene absolutamente nada que ver: se inicia en pocos segundos, el navegador funciona inmediatamente después de iniciar el PC,... Además, ahora es mucho mas silencioso (lo cual se agradece también).

Hay problemas de comunicación conocidos con Windows, aunque el que me llegó venía con el firmware actualizado Windows no lo reconoce, el software de clonación del fabricante tampoco. Probando en un portátil más viejo conseguí que la BIOS lo reconociera y pude instalar Windows 7... En general es bueno, pero de haber conocido el problema habría comprado otro... Me ha llevado mucho tiempo conseguir hacerlo funcionar.

Habe die SSD in einen Mac mini (mid 2011) problemlos eingebaut, nachdem der Finder mehr als 3 Minuten für das Öffnen von Ordnern gebraucht hat. Auch der Systemstart und die Office Programme funktionieren wieder in wenigen Sekunden, was vorher Minuten dauerte.

Questo SSD è stato installato in sostituzione del HD presente in un vecchio portatile con Win 7 del 2011. Il PC era dotato di 4GB RAM per cui è stata anche inserita una scheda di memoria aggiuntiva per portare la RAM a 8 GB. Lespansione della RAM è indispensabile per ridurre laccesso allo swap space sul disco in quanto gli SSD sono meno tolleranti verso questo tipo di attività di lettura/scrittura che potrebbero portare a un invecchiamento anticipato del device.

Montato su un Asus X54C (ver K54C) del 2011, tutto perfetto. Il pc ha ripreso vita e lo uso ancora anche per operazioni di un certo livello (matlab, gis, python..) senza nessun problema. Che dire se non volete spendere 1000 euro per un pc nuovo, pensateci!

Ja, ganz richtig. Statt meinen Mac unter Verlust der Garantie zu öffnen, um die verbaute HDD des FusionDrive-Verbunds zu entfernen, habe ich macOS auf diese SSD geklont.
