Powerful little vacuum. Really loud and makes a high-pitched squeal when picked up off the ground, and it tends to fall over when you use the hose on its own. BUT, the value is great and Im happy with my purchase. It didnt seem to have any problems picking up dirt/hair on hardwood or a low-pile carpet.

This vacuum is perfect for quick vacuuming jobs and works well on both hardwood floors and carpet. I have not had any issue using the attachments to clean my couch as well (popcorn always falls behind the cushions....) However, the vacuum is not great for getting into small spaces as the vacuum head does not turn all the way and the bottom is quite chunky. For the under the bed spaces I use my broom and swiffer wet mop, so no problems there. I am satisfied with this purchase for the job it does.

This vacuum has some real spunk! I loved it, it’s lightweight and easy to assemble. My dingy old apt carpets were less than appealing but using this vacuum just 1 time brought new life back into it. However, when I was cleaning the vacuum after using it the very first time, I noticed some parts from the bottom were missing. I included a picture to show where the coverings on the left side were missing. They weren’t in the box so they didn’t just fall off when I took the vacuum out of the box. I love this vacuum but do wish the missing pieces were there so dust won’t get stuck in those holes.

Been a Dirt Devil user forever, always good, solid, innovative and just consistantly good stuff! This bugger really sucks, so much dirt came up it was down right embarrassing! Another nice thing is it is easy to clean and maintain which is a must for long life! Not having height adjustments for the carpet is not an issue, it does well regardless long or short pile. The vacuum attachments are really slick and with all that suction very effective! All in all I have zero issues recommending, another Dirt Devil in the family!

Ive owned several Dirt Devils. As I only have area rugs, and wood floors, I went with the smaller one. The suction is very good. I have three cats, and a dog. So lots of pet hair. This vacuum did the job. The only negative is that this vacuums base is a bit wobbly, and doesnt seem as sturdy as theDirt Devils Ive owned in the past. All in all a good little vacuum for the price.

I received my dirt devil on or about January 15th 2021. Item would not pick up put hair and would not clean floors unless it was a carpet. Hard wood floors or any other it would not pick up anything on them. Then around mid December 2022 the brush in the front of the vacuum cleaner just stopped working and the under side had white smoke coming out of it. I think I paid 45 dollars and some change for it with tax and shipping and all, but the item still didnt even last 2 years working the way its described it should. My cats tend to get food and litter on the floor, and the vacuum wouldnt even pick up the litter. In my opinion, this item is not worth the time or the trouble people plan on investing in it. Use it at your own risk...

The weak link is the wand does not stay on the handle..this really bothers me but it does suck good and is lighter than my other vacuums.

Suction is good however vacuum is difficult to push on even low pile carpet and height cannot be manually adjusted. Please note instructions say to secure bolt onto screw for top assembly, however this model no longer comes with a bolt, it must be screwed in after placement. Customer service was very nice pointing this out but they could have changed the instructions in the manual.
